6amsunset is a producer and visual artist from Milan, Italy. Growing up in the midst of the digital era he was influenced by a wide range of sounds and genres coming from the internet’s both underground and popular sounds. After more than a decade of exploring sounds, scenes, and aesthetics, all those influences have been blended under the “6amsunset” moniker, first as a collection of songs released on the internet, and later as a DJ act.

I recorded this EP during 2023 in Janakpur, Nepal. I woke up at 3AM and started recording sounds of trucks and cars passing by giving a doppler effect to the tracks and a chilly wintery night atmosphere.
I know I have been putting out a lot of music, I think it's time to slow down a bit.

@floraytw - 'Kotohiki' is part of Gravity Pleasure's inaugural release, Water Bodies: a rippling compilation of FLINTA* artists and collaborators that invites listeners into an aqueous paraworld.

Across 21 tracks, Water Bodies spans a post-genre miasma of ethereal mermaid music, cathartic flows, and glistening sibilants ~ each one an exquisite message-in-a-bottle of deep diving emotionality. Pulling from a wide-range of musical perspectives ~ field recording, lovesick ballads, shimmering downtempo, post-party comedown, and percolating ambient ~ the compilation contains multitudes yet maintains deep sentimental coherence. Like a wave crashing in slow motion, it sonifies possible ways of being, insisting on the porous, the interdependent, and the deep and unruly. Water Bodies reminds us that home is a body made of water, to which we all belong.
