02 Take Five

An extremely rare and previously unreleased 1969/1970 heavy psychedelic album housed in a superb sleeve. It was recorded in the Cavern Sound Studio, Missouri. The opening cut, "End Of The Page", has a lovely guitar intro and the other highlight is the lengthy "Let's Go To The Sea", which features some great Hendrix's psychedelic guitar work. The remainder of the album comprises harder edged rock cuts, their own interpretation of "Stormy Monday" and "Hooked", which is the best moment on the album vocally. Worth checking out. The band hailed from the Kansas/Missouri area.
Heavy psych classic with warm dusty basement sound with HEAVY bass and great acid psych guitarwork of premium quality. "Stormy Monday" and "Let's Go To The Sea" are amazing.

03. Brahmurya - Lost Soul

"Oceanids" is a sonic enchantment, woven beneath the frozen veil of the North Pole, a place where the sea whispers secrets to the sky, and silence is inhabited by ancient spirits. It is the song of André’s soul, a man who crossed the edges of the world, between salt and ice, between the seen and the unseen, between what is human and what belongs to the eternal.

In the forgotten realms between the waves and the northern lights, he heard a calling, not with his ears, but with his heart. And there, on the threshold of the real and the invisible, the Oceanids revealed themselves: beings of liquid light and untamed essence, daughters of the primordial Ocean and the goddess Tethys, guardians of mystery and deep beauty.

They do not belong to one world alone. They are living poetry, dancing between currents and constellations, between dream and memory. Touched by one of them, André discovered a love that asks for no name, no form, a love that simply is. Infinite; Silent; Luminous.

"Sweet Groovy" is a sensory experience in which the world of psy trance meets a sweet and captivating energy. With its immersive bassline, psychedelic layers and pulsating groove, this song invites you to enter a state of flow between mind and movement.

It's sweet, but not soft. It's intense, yet not aggressive. "Sweet Groovy" dances with contrasts, balancing bouncy rhythms with progressive melodies and deep beats with a light vibration that sticks to the soul.

05. Brahmurya - Sweet Groovy

"Hallucination Virus" is an intense exploration of the boundaries between mind and reality. 

The music immerses you in the sensation of losing control over what is real, as if an invisible virus were distorting your perceptions, thoughts, and emotions. 

With its raw, distorted, atmospheric and melodic sound, sometimes dark, sometimes explosive, the music evokes a feverish state in which hallucinatory images blend with profound truths.

It reflects an internal battle against mental confusion and invisible fears, and the feeling of being trapped in an illusory world, as if your senses are being deceived by something that cannot be seen, but can be felt with every beat. 

The music serves as a metaphor for anxiety, the manipulation of reality and the psychological impact of living in an increasingly distorted world of technology, information and loneliness.

06. Brahmurya - Hallucination Virus

"Frequencies Of Consciousness" a sonic journey into the depths of the self. It is an introspective piece of music that invites us to delve into the depths of the mind. 

From the outset, we are immersed in a celestial, almost mystical atmosphere, where each sound frequency seems to resonate with a different state of consciousness.

The enveloping tones and electronic textures, combined with environmental elements and Gregorian chants, create a sense of spiritual elevation. This is not just music to be heard, but also to be felt.

The free and fluid structure of the music reflects the thoughts during meditation or induces the sensation of lucid dreaming, transporting us beyond physical reality.

07. Brahmurya - Frequencies Of Consciousness

The Brahmurya project, which is dedicated to the production of psychedelic electronic music, was created after several years of intense connection with the world of music. This project has been in a state of incubation for almost two decades, a period during which various studies, investigations, experiments and developments have been undertaken with the aim of improving and optimising knowledge and skills.
One of the advantages of this waiting period was undoubtedly the growth and evolution of DAWs (more intuitive), equipment (more interactive) and tools, which were essential for the concretisation of the Brahmurya project.
The Brahmurya project is influenced by multiple strands of Psy Trance, reflecting various key points of psychedelic culture, without limiting itself to a specific genre.
