Chicago-based @god-particle-vinyl label head @sassmouth played this DJ set in Chicago on 12/3/22 as a part of our 'Mike Parker / Secret Warehouse Location' event. She took the decks from 1-2:30am, delivering a set of techno cuts which spanned dub, minimal, acid, and experimental styles, shifting seamlessly between records and CDJs throughout.

For the inaugural event in Montreal we teamed up with local vinyl institution, label and community hub La Rama Records to co-curate the lineup for the event. Represented by Kris Guilty, La Rama hosted a pop-up record sale with Montreal based artists and labels at the intimate OSMO X MARUSAN Café, a space merging music, coffee, and Japanese cuisine.

Shift Radio was our second collaborator and streamed this event live on their channels. Founded in late 2020 after a visit to Brussels, Audrey and Charles combined their experiences with online radio and planted a seed in the Montreal scene that grew into what Shift Radio is now: a Montreal-based independent web radio station dedicated to promoting the abundance and diversity of Montreal's electronic music scene through livestreams carefully selected by people, not algorithms.

Ahead of our club night with @musar-recordings on Friday 18th August at The Carpet Shop in Peckham, Glasgow-based producer @nightwave808 steps up to the IA MIX Series to deliver an acidic blend of house and techno packed with lysergic heat from DJ Haus, Cromby, Jerome Hill, Fear-E, Albert Van Abbe.

In our interview, Nightwave sheds light into her first steps into electronic music, her love for the city of Glasgow and residency at La Cheetah club. She also discusses the ethos behind her imprint Heka Trax, empowering women in the electronic music industry, the influence and passing of DJ Deeon and her interest in Amazonian shamanism and the organisation Barixá, which helps to support indigenous communities, organise retreats, educate and sell their arts.

This was one of those sets that just leaves you blown away when the dust settles....the only word reverberating in my head for hours afterwards was 'wow'...took me some time and a bottle of red to come down from the experience......It was a total honour and privilege to have been asked to close out the Warehouse stage on Thursday evening at this fantastic festival..... I wasn't expecting such a big turn out or stage.....it was a little bit intimidating at first in all honesty.
It took me a while to get into my groove - but I felt that the set flowed very well once I did (after a pep talk from my good pal @charlesgreen) and it seemed to be well received by the audience.
Here is the final couple of hours of the set - I've uploaded the first 55 minutes seperately.....wasn't feeling that bit anywhere near as much as this.
