Continuing the animix series this week is one of the most passionate and talented musicians I know. Max Santilli ( @maxsant ) is a musical chameleon with an incredibly deep and diverse knowledge of music. One half of the Eora/ Sydney duo @angophora , and an avid record collector,  
max has released a beautiful range of releases under the duo and his solo project. 

The warm qualities that shine through in maxes music are reflective of his deeply humble character, and his music never fails to blow me away - beautifully tranquil and always unique.

This is pure high end psychedelia, perfectly executing their concept of mesmerizing throbbing, burning and jacking jams with such grace, conscious intention, deep skill and passion. The styles and eras that they fuse is just so exciting, there’s nothing else quite like this — dripping with vibe. Heavy and heady.

MAGENTA is a DJ and musician born, raised, and based in Chicago. Like many from the city, they grew up surrounded and fascinated by Chicago's dance music culture, and they were particularly intrigued by the mysterious person sometimes playing records. Over the last year, MAGENTA has been that shadowy figure as a resident DJ at Sinister Sundays, a weekly industry and goth night, spinning dark and gritty industrial, EBM, and punk late into the night.

This mix finds MAGENTA in their purest form: percussive, corrosive, genre-fluid dance music blended with abandon, as punishing as it is melancholy.
