Nightfall Verdancy

Exquisite Corpse is a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule or by being allowed to see only the end of what the previous person contributed.

Introducing a new concept: A Musical Exquisite Corpse. Based on the classical Exquisite Corpse idea, 13 amazing artists from the Worldwave Discord community came together to collaborate on this project.

Each artist, in a randomly-arranged list, was tasked to create up to 16 bars in a timespan of 4 days, based ONLY on the 2 last bars of what the previous artist created, never hearing the full composition. Then, 2 bars from their creation were sent forward to the next artist in line. No artist (except for me, the first prompt) was exposed to anything in the composition except their prompts, until right now.

Eventually, we took every section, connected them together, and Corpsewave 2021 - "Cascade" is the result. 

I'm extremely proud of how this project came out. The amount of talent that took part in this creation is exorbitant. Out of this world. Please enjoy, and don't forget to follow these incredible people (ordered in the order they appear in the composition):

An Exquisite Corpse is a collaborative endeavor to collectively assemble words or images into a composition, with a twist. Each collaborator adds to the composition in sequence, by being allowed to see only the end of what the previous participant contributed.

THIS IS CORPSEWAVE: A Musical Exquisite Corpse. Based on the classical Exquisite Corpse idea, 18 incredibly talented artists from the Worldwave Discord community came together to collaborate on the third project in the series.

Each artist, in a randomly-arranged list, was tasked to create up to 16 bars in a timespan of 4 days, based ONLY on the 2 last bars of what the previous artist created, NEVER getting a hint of the full composition until the release. Then, the last 2 bars of their creation were sent forward to the next artist in line. Again, nobody (except me, and only after my own submission was made!) was exposed to anything in the composition except their predecessor's prompts, until the moment of this release!

The final composition is an entire range of emotions - and we hope you emerge from it someone greater than you were before.

Yes sir the iconic duo is back okay so basically Jaded and I decided to make a Halloween track but we kinda did that like 5 days before halloween and we are the biggest procrastinators ever but we were like fuck it and decided to release it on Friday the 13th because its still an epic track (also shoutout to @imcoldd for the guitar recording fr)
