i wanted to create drone music. i've wanted to for a long time, but never truly been confident i'd be able to pull off something this long-form. i think i did, and it was mostly in part due to the focus i put into one crucial aspect of this piece: the focus on minute detail

i believe i've managed to create a drone song with enough constant, varying, repetitious and small yet noticeable details. i want the listener to be completely focused on one specific sound they can hear flowing around their head, that they start to realise is interacting with the rest of the soundscape in interesting ways, and may even slowly be transforming as they listen. i want people to be sunk so deeply into this trace-like state of complete attention towards certain details, while not fully grasping how the soundscape around them is shifting and progressing. the attentiveness that i would like to evoke will hopefully work in the favour of this minimalistic harmonic composition, as only two main chords are ever played. i hope the impact of these chord changes is consistently engaging and blissful, and allow the momentum of chebi 33310 to keep a solid, steady pace
