An epic plunge into the world of Yolek, 4818 deploys a kit faithful to its influences: sharp drums with a hip-hop groove, steady bass guiding the trance and mysterious synth lines. The dark yet driving character of this first track also demonstrates the simplicity with which Yolek takes us along: every sample is in its place, nothing sticks out, and it's strangely beautiful.
