"as a (Film/Media) Composer & Sound-Designer i'm always interested in different "genre's" of music.The music has to tell a story. I made this composition as a school assignment(I studied composition for the media at the University of arts in Holland) It's had to be a composition inspired by Thomas Newman. Because of all the "fake news"and more restrictions, we face today, it feels to me, we are living in a lie. The amazing "think for yourself question authority"quote by Timothy Leary opened my eyes when i was 17 years old. When i think about life it sometimes feels like i'm floating away on a bed of emotions and feel something that unites us all. The compositions starts as a small dream evolving into a reality.Waking up and not knowing where you are but at the same time you smell the unique scents from the middle east or the far east. Are you in a Dream or is this the beginning of a new chapter in your life?? It's all very philosophical but this is the best way to describe this composition.The real story is told by the composition itself.
