ਇਸ ਤਵੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਬੋਲ ਸਾਂਭੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਤਵੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਬੋਲੀ ਹੈ "ਮੋੜੀਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਕੱਛ ਵਾਲਿਆ, ਛਈ!!, ਰੰਗ ਗਈ ਬਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਗਈ, ਛਈ !!!" । ਬਸਰਾ ਇਰਾਕ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਬੋਲੀ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਕ ਹਮਲੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਜਵਾਨ ਜਨਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਬ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਕ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅਬਲਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਟਕਾਰੇ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਸਿਰਫ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਧਾੜਵੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ  ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਅਬਲਾਵਾਂ ਬਚਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਜੋਈ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ "ਮੋੜੀਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਕੱਛ (ਕਛਹਿਰੇ) ਵਾਲਿਆ, ਰੰਨ ਗਈ ਬਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਗਈ"। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਜਨਾਨੀ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਬਸਰੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲਗਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਫਿਰ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਆਉਣਾ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬੋਲੀ ਆਮ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਤਵੇ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਮਿਸ ਦੁਲਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਦੀ ਹੀਰਾ ਮੰਡੀ (ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ-ਏ-ਹੁਸਨ) ਦੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਏ। ਮਸਤਾਨਸਰ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਤਰਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਲ "ਖ਼ਾਸ ਓ ਖਾਸਕ ਜ਼ਮਾਨੇ"ਵਿਚ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਤਵਾ ਐੱਚਐੱਮਵੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੇ 1943 ਵਿਚ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨੰਬਰ ਐਨ-3125 ਹੈ।
