Mary Yuzovskaya's vinyl-only, Berlin-via-Brooklyn Monday Off label is back to techno's shadowy depths; where the music's subtle dynamics unfurl in intensely cerebral and psychedelic ways. Italian maestro and Midgar, AWRY and Semantica artist Ruhig returns to MOFF with this stunning new four track release of hypnotic soundscapes.

If the first rays of dawn could be captured in a deep techno track, it would sound something like opener Metaverse with its glistening, understated euphoria. Numerical Analysis plunges back into the darkness, as tension mounts via clattering dissonance throughout. On the flip, Abbreviation pulsates with driving rhythms and heady atmospherics. MOFF favourite Claudio PRC reworks Numerical Analysis into a groove-centric banger that ebbs and flows with mesmerizing precision while also being infectiously danceable.

It’s been a long time coming, but finally this long awaited EP is ready to be heard and felt around the globe. Our relation to this enigmatic man goes back to 2016, when we booked him for the legendary Midnight Sun Festival far out in the Lofoten archipelago. Musically we were aware of his deep, eco-friendly take on techno, but little did we know “sparks would fly” also on a personal level.

We simply have a deep respect for Toffe, personally and musically. Within his humble appearance lies a timeless power and wisdom, represented in his music with such elegance. This is music from, and for, the thick, mossy Värmland forests, by the bonfire, by a hidden lake.

Hydrous takes on the remix duty with honor and charisma. Slowing things down, yet opening up the sound, to a majestic landscape, reminiscent of Microgravity-era Biosphere. Aurora Borealis encapsulated into a contemporary ambient techno sound.

This is music for seasons coming and going. For leaves changing colour, for fungi kingdom rising; for long, dark nights, and for lakes freezing. This is the sound of the North.

The psychedelic legends met up during the summer of 2019 and played around with modular recordings. After a few productive sessions the deep techno dj tool was ready. Carl Finlow turned the song into an electro banger whilst Ness takes listeners to a darker realm. Finally, Jack Sienkiewicz explores more liquid acid minimal techno dreamy landscapes with an irresistible hypnotic groove."

“During summer 2019 i was in Berlin visiting my childhood friend Konstantin Gervis (Gervis/ZV_K) who is working for Tip Top Audio synth company, for a whole week i was joining him in his studio checking new tip top gear and recording all the fresh modular manipulations which resulted as a few folders of some freshly synthesized mind-blowing samples, same week i dropped by Nimrod Gorovich studio and played him some of those recordings he loved it and showed me a sample of Fidel Castro’s
speech in UN in 1979, this speech is famous and my Spanish knowledge allowed me to make a good edit of it and Nimrod just on spot came up with a rhythm and bass line of the track and after few days of productive sessions the tune was done.
Apocalyptic deep techno dj friendly tool that awakes awareness of some life values we both share, the call for all humanity to stop for a second and think about PEACE and making an anti war statement.
Then- pandemic broke up and it wasn’t a good time to release anything dark and war subject related, anyhow sadly last year our world slides back to the times of wars, weapons, rockets, bombs, nuclear threats and its becoming again a hot subject, there for we find this tune more then fitting and relevant to be released NOW."

Gorovich- successful psychedelic trance producer, well known for his original and unique sound that stands out of all psytrance scene cliches and formulas and hybrids his trance with techno and vise versa. His musical journey began as a drummer in the Tel Aviv’s indie scene, evolving into his first well known project duo Empirikal and later a part of legendary LOUD live project, all those experiences resulted him to form his solo project Gorovich and to release an album that followed with an extensive touring all around the world and collaborations with some of the most famous acts and producers in the scene in his constant exploration and experimentation with new sounds, he continues to push boundaries of electronic dance music with his authentic psychedelic style and phat production.

Alex “Boshke “ Tolstey -"A psychedelic techno originator, a walking jukebox of electronic dance music fusion that is hard to categorize as one style, his eclectic, unpredictable, trippy spontaneous dj sets could be heard almost at every major festival in the world in the last 25 years. His versatile selection from disco to techno from house to electro breaks etc, brought him a status of one of the most ahead of
time underground record producers ( more than 250 records were executed till today) and DJs, who still prefers to stay out of commercialism and stick to the underground. He plays for the people, he tries to deliver something to each and every individual on the dancefloor, approaching his crowd as a therapist. Alex believes that music can reach and touch people in a way that nothing else in our universe does."

Producer, musician, dj, photographer, eclectic italian artist Brando Lupi blends a unique style of hypontic techno with deep haunting melodies and visionary sound-scapes: his influences range from industrial-rock to experimental electronica to modern classical. The Italian native has had a history working alongside a number of talented artists. He's the owner of the label Detune Records,founded in 2000.Brando’s releases have been picked up by the likes of Orange Groove , Kompakt , Samuvar , Dewtone Recordings , Field Records , Ultimae Records ,Mental Groove , Zooloft , Detune Records and Elettronica Romana. He has composed a score for the movie “La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi”, distributed by Medusa,with the soundtrack signed by Mike Patton ,leader of Faith No More,and presented at the 67th Venice Film Festival. He currently resides in Rome, spreading experimental spiritual frequencies across the world.
