I had to fight an arduous digital battle to retrieve this song. It got lost in the Death of GLaDOS 2k13. The audio quality may have suffered a little in the process. Anyway...

Recorded in my dorm room my sophomore year of college. Everything was recorded either on my acoustic guitar or by my own mouth. All effects were put on in the editor. It was just an experiment I wanted to try. Ended up dubbing that experiment "Concoustador" which would be my simpler stuff, stripped down and recorded full acoustic.

I wrote this in college, when I was going through a big Manchester Orchestra. My favorite song at the time was "The Only One" so I wanted to make something with that same feel. It's evolved over the years, but think some of the original inspiration still shines through.

It's called FiLo because First In/Last Out was the original title, but I kept messing up recordings of it. The name of the file on my computer went from First In/Last Out to FI/LO to FI-LO and many other names until I decided I liked the way FiLo looked and ran with it. Plus it's like a dyslexic LoFi, and none of my shit's really of a particularly high fidelity...
