History Repeats

   This is the fourth part and final track of this experimental album. The idea for this album came to me over a period of time but when I decide to make it, it was quite a spontaneous creation, leaving miscues and mistakes as I began the work.

     I set off to make an album based on the relationship that one has with their computer in regard to the interaction one has with social media, social networking and personal websites, i.e., Facebook, Skype as well as personal e-mail accounts, etc.  Every time I had a direct contact, notification or interaction from one of these three specific websites, I stopped playing the note that was being played, responded or reloaded the web page.  When I went back to making the music I changed the note I previously was playing to another note. In making the work I set a parameter of 1 hour daily for one month, giving the track duration longevity and the chance to transform or to be completely redundant. The results are heard through the variation or the lack of variation in the track in accordance to the interaction of the Internet.
