I stumbled upon a really quirky riff with my piano so I loaded up Mixcraft and decided to write what my version of a clever bubbly pop song would be. Ha. I love the English Language.

Make-Up's Ex

This is a cover of one of my favourite Coheed and Cambria songs, which if you haven't heard, is pure genius and sonic bliss. Just GO LISTEN TO IT. As a musician I wouldn't exist with Claudio Sanchez, the crazy talented guy behind this song, and this song in particular brought me to appreciate and aspire to do what I so enjoy doing. Obviously I don't own the rights to any of this, it's just me showing my appreciation for the genius of Coheed.

Firstly, thank you to no end, Jeremy "Frigid Mcthunderbones" Kerr, I should have put this up ages ago, but other projects got me busy. Due to our kinda makeshift recording situation it's kinda rough at parts, but damn it was fun to do. Another tune from another god damn unfinished concept thing. Ugh. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now. But yeah, basic idea: Guy Gets Drunk in Post-Apocalyptic Bar, Guy Sings Song, Guy Goes Out, Guy GETS MURDERED BY A DEMON!, Demon Shapeshifts. You know. Thora's Diner

I......well.....from a collection of songs that I would arrogantly consider "A Concept Album", that details post-apocalypse and demon stuff that is like, totally reminiscent of actual good things. This song is after all the demon stuff and the main dude, distraught from the pains of fighting demons and losing his lover (a cliche. I mean, don't let your lover die, guy), and this song is about him stumbling upon a robot-run city called New Metro. And zany crazy shenanigans ensue with Robot Ladies of the Night due to his sadness. Yeh......I.....don't know either.

Retro New Metro

The second-to-last track for an collection of songs I've put on the backburner since other projects have invaded my time and energy. Not too complicated, a sad tune of loss and hindsight and blah emotions, yar har. It stands on it's own though and doesn't need a dozen songs beforehand to have meaning, unlike some of the other crazy, weird, things I've done. But thanks ya!

Seira (I)

A newer track, one I wanted to do more instrumental stuff on and had a blast doing it. Think of coup's in hierarchy, monarch's outing one another to be top dog. Maybe. Or just think of it as just a song. None of that pretentious bull.

Monarchy

I swear, this song shouldn't be titled what it is, but I guess thematically it meets up with the other stuff I've written beside it. I started with the title based off of Riviere Du Loup, while roadtripping to New Brunswick from Ontario, and then god damn it, the original musical idea sucked and I just started from scratch, leading the title to stay the same. The artsy fart life, man.......oh, yeah, and enjoy and stuff.

Wolf River

I had the main progression for AGES, bored with all the chorus ideas I had, sticking to general conventions tiring me. I am bad st writing short songs, so this is my attempt at just getting a decent idea and letting i go before it turns into another god damn three album concept at two hours a piece. Short. Sweet. Ish. I wish I could do that more.

Soon

Aries is Seira sdrawckrab. Most of this song is sdrawckrab. It comes immediately after another song, Nerve, so if it seems jarring, it's because my editing skills are mediocre, but listening to the two songs together seems.....kinda seamless. Enjoy the trance-iness

I think this may have started out as a lamention of our modern generational stupidity, but then me, taking a cue from said generation, simply started writing just for the fancy words and syllabic structure. Hey. I'm no exception! Enjoy!

Nerve

Most of this, at the very least conceptually, was written on the roof above a wedding on a cool night in June. Not to force any purple prose on anyone, but the moon was frigging vivacious. Hence the name. Though that doesn't mean, like......I actually lusted the moon...it was just nice. Oh, and there's also the sad mopey truth behind it, but that goes for every song and it should speak for itself. Enjoy!

Moonlust

I started this on an instrument I know nothing about, the geetar, and I really liked it. So I did what I do best; butcher it and turn it into an electronic pop deal. I liked the idea of lovers in the same dire scenario and relying on each other to....rob a bank.....it seems......timeless.....*coughs* Enjoy!

The Getaway

I'm just like you! A lover of music, the fine art of audible euphoria, a spokesman of the sound, a fellow engineer of entertainment, a wily wondered and adept adventurer in the realm of creativity. Or, at least I'd like to think so. Who's to say I am or am not? Bah, screw it, I just like making music.
