Cityscape 08 took some time to develop. I worked with an old voice memo from 2015 for the opening midwest fingerstyle riff and then was a bit stuck. I did the cool Tame Impala fake fade out effect and decided to use that as a transition to the next segment which ended up very Tycho like. I plan to do more cityscape stuff with synth in the next volume.

Canandaigua (can-an-day-gua) is a city on finger lakes that I once went to and took these very soothing and calming photos of the boat marina. This track reminded me of water and i liked these photos so I decided to use it!
