Cockos has recently released experimental builds of Reaper on Linux. I wanted to see if I could leave all of my shiny Waves plugins behind and mix with just would natively run on linux. I'm pretty impressed with how it came out! 

I used the Crocell Kit by the drumgizmo team using their drum sample plugin:
