Brandon Reece - 2/2/13 Demo (instrumental)

Yeah yeah...No Shame...real original name, I know.  What can I say...we were 18 years old and heavily influenced by bands of a much older era.  

This song in particular is somewhat of a Poison meets Bon Jovi kinda thing.  A little cheesy, but hey...for a bunch of 18 year olds it could have been worse.  A slew of kids from our graduating class actually knew every word of it though and it was a constant request at all the parties down at the beach that year ('03).  Good times.

Performing lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and lead vocals on this one.  As a matter of fact, I distinctly remember I had a cold when I cut the vocals for this and I can still hear the stuffiness in my voice to this day...ugh.  Anyways, enjoy...

Another unfinished song from a group of tunes I wrote in the style of 70's glam rock.  Made a few attempts at writing lyrics for this one...none successful obviously.  I suppose it'll happen when the time is right.

Brandon Reece - Let Go (instrumental demo)

This was sort of a blend of early KISS and White Album era Beatles.  The verses obviously being more of the early KISS sound but the chorus is heavily influenced by McCartney with the bouncing bass line.  Always imagined big gang vocals in the chorus like the Beatles' "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da".

Brandon Reece - Wrong Place At The Right Time

Hello and thanks for checking out my "cloud"!

Playing music has always been a part of my life.  When I was three years old I had a Muppet Babies keyboard that I hammered until it simply stopped producing sound.  At the age of 10 I was playing saxophone in the band at school.  By 13 I had my first electric guitar and started playing in rock bands.  I've been writing and performing my own music since then and trust me, there's a LOT of material I've recorded over the years!  

From the rockin' 2012 debut EP of my band Jet City Vega (produced by Obie O'Brien - Bon Jovi/Alice Cooper) to my first recordings as a teenager, this is where I'll be posting it all: past and present, finished and unfinished, serious and humorous, etc.  So kick back, turn up the volume, and take a journey with me through my collection of work.
