His titled track, Up North, starts off strong with a heavy pounding kick drum paired with piercing industrial synth loops and gritty percussions. Alex cleverly layers additional percussions with subtle EQ movements that help to carry along this track. This single is perfect for those late-night industrial warehouse parties, or the peak-time club stage.  

Label boss B. Riley takes over the controls on the remix with a more hypnotic rendition of the original. Loopy synth stabs and plucks backed by whooshing percussions get things going as he continues to layer synth lines building a robust sounding mix. B. Riley takes things further with a nice extended main break that 
builds up before crashing into the hard driving main mix.

CMND CTRL Recordings is proud to present, CTRL007, with 
a 3-track release not to be missed. Alexi Delano is back for his 
second appearance on the label, but this time with a well-crafted original track titled “Fomo Tech”. His title track begins 
with dark layered synth loops and slowly rising percussions that 
drive along steadily through the track. Subtle changes to the 
rhythm is so well crafted you will hardly notice they have
suddenly appeared. A very friendly DJ tool type track perfect 
for dance floor warm up or the late-night crowds. 

First up on remix duties is the Italian Techno legend 
himself, Gaetano Parisio, and he delivers a very strong 
rendition of Fomo Tech. Thick loopy hook layers along with
hard driving percussions that are very reminiscent of Gaetano’s 
work on his South Soul label. Well timed breaks and percussion 
changeups show you why Gaetano is one of the best in the 
world at his craft. This is a remix that is sure to be given lots of 
support by some of the biggest names in the business. 

Lastly, Swedish producer Kimono delivers his unique 
sounding remix starting off with deep kicks and toms
intertwined with well-timed percussion change ups that really 
make this remix stand out. Kimono does a great job twisting 
the main synth loops to give his version a real stand out sound 
that is sure to catch the attention of many. 

This 3-track release is a very solid effort for the label that 
blurs the lines as to what today’s Techno sound should be.

CMND CTRL Recordings is pleased to present, CTRL008,
with a 2-track release for the underground warehouse parties
and late-night clubs. Label boss Brandon Riley graces us with a
strong driving original new track titled “Within Dreams”. Heavy
thumping kick drums with droning metallic ambient sounds instantly attract the listener as cascading percussions slowly fall into the mix before being rounded out by a wonderfully crafted synth loop that really gets the track going. B. Riley takes his time on this mix pulling the audience in further with layered hypnotic rhythms before dropping into a long building break that crashes back into a full-on ensemble of sounds sure to get the dancefloor moving.

Swedish Techno veteran Jesper Dahlbäck is up on remix duties under his Persuader moniker with a superb interpretation of the original track. Nice tribal drums set the stage as Jesper weaves in some of the original track elements in a chaotic-yetcontrolled type groove paired with unique layered FX that is sure to bend some ears. A nice change up at the main break introduces the original hook and drives along steadily throughout the mix. A very functional remix with top-notch production as to be expected by Jesper.

CMND CTRL continues to push the envelope on what defines
the Techno genre. Continue to expect great things from this

single titled "Sofles". Deep bass kicks and crisp percussions
start things off as a slowly rising hook creeps into the mix.

Additional percussions are carefully layered onto the 
foundation of this steady moving track and is sure to fit right 
into the DJ tools of today's top Techno performers. 
Legendary DJ/Producer Pfirter handles the remix duties with 
an out of this world banger of a remix. Pfirter comes out 
swinging with super heavy stadium shaking kick drums and 
saturated percussions as he carefully introduces a heavily 
flanged main hook that relentlessly builds throughout the 
track. Pfirter shows off his master-craftsman skills in the 
studio on this remix and will definitely catch the ears of those 
hard dancing Techno crowds.

CMND CTRL Recordings introduces, CTRL010, featuring a
4-track release by newcomer Gonzalo Mia. Hailing from 
Montevideo, Uruguay, Gonzalo has made a name for himself 
as a DJ in the South American scene having shared the stage 
with artists such as Anna, DJ Rebeka, Ellen Alien, & Truncate. 

Gonzalo's first outing under his artist's name showcases 2 
functional Techno tracks starting off with "Lantern" with its 
thick bubbling synth loops, dark hypnotic percussions and a 
steady driving composition. Gonzalo changes gears on 
"Nothing To Fix" with a thumping kick and more upbeat 
percussions paired with nice vocal sample and synth stabs 
that make this the perfect track to blend at any time of the 
party.

Remix duties are kicked off first with label boss, B. Riley and 
his version of "Lantern". Well-crafted beats set the stage as 
deep rhythmic basslines roll along the track before colliding 
with dark dreamy synths and vocal stabs. The main break 
change is also sure to catch the attention on the dancefloor.

Last, but not least, is fast rising German sensation 
Ackermann. Best known for his recent works on Marco 
Faraone's UNCAGE label as well as collabs with Michael Klein 
and DJ Emerson, Ackerman brings the heat with his topnotch remix of "Nothing To Fix". This track gets things going 
right from the start with a hard driving House-lined edge of 
beats and up-tempo percussions matched with clever cuts of 
the original synth stabs. This remix is sure to have support of 
some of the top DJs in the scene.

Techno approach with the track “Thought Lost”. Heavy 
thumping kick drums start things off as a thick and groovy 
bassline envelopes the mix. Very cleverly crafted percussions 
and additional synth stabs poke in and out of the mix giving it a 
unique sound that is sure to catch the dancefloors attention. 

Fast rising Copenhagen-based DJ/Producer Gabriella Vergilov is 
the perfect complement to remix B. Riley’s unique original. 
With previous releases on Ben Sim’s Symbolism label as well as 
Enemy Records and Northern Parallel’s, Gabriella’s strong 
production resume is perfectly suited for this remix. 

Gabriella does a nice job adding a touch more upbeat tempo to 
her mix while keeping the overall sound of the original present. 
She also adds some very ear-catching vocals on her mix that are 
perfect for those wild party nights!

CMND CTRL Recordings introduces their next release,
CTRL013, with 4 tracks of dark hypnotic Techno perfect for the
start of the Fall season. The label welcomes back Munich based producer Alex Asci 2 well-crafted original tracks that are
remixed by Vinicius Honorio and The Unborn Child. Track 1 is
“Facing The Wind” and Alex brings an absolute analogue
crusher to this original work. Thick distorted kicks and
percussion glide along as looping synth plucks slowly work their
way into the mix. A perfect tool for the late-night dancefloor.
London-based Brazilian producer Vinicius Honorio is first
up on rework duties. In addition to his own Liberta Records
label, Vini has also cut tracks for labels such as Suara,
Symbolism, and Planet Rhythm. He does not disappoint on this
remix that is dark and dirty with sultry ambient tones driven by
swinging percussions and dark synth stabs. Nice changeups
throughout the track make this a perfect DJ tool for the lovers
of Techno.
Alex showcases his production talent yet again with his
track “Simulations”. A fast-moving mix with bleeping synths,
punchy kicks, and sharp percussions all held together with
winding ambient sounds and cleaver EQ fx. This track has
received heavy rotation by DVS1, Rene Wise, and Richie
Hawtin.
Lastly, we have Spain’s very own Hard Techno producer
The Unborn Child on remix. With releases on Fever, Illegal
Alien, and Unterwelt, he has been making waves in Techno as
of late. No time is wasted here as hard punching kicks and thick
layered ambient sounds start things off with a bang. Clever
changeups on the breaks keep things interesting as he tops it
off with loud ringing industrial tones and out-of-this-world fx.
Another release for CMND CTRL that continues to redefine
what a Techno label should be.

CMND CTRL Recordings welcomes their next release,
CTRL014, with 4 tracks of well-polished hypnotic Techno perfect for
the start of the Fall / Winter club season. The label welcomes back
Stockholm-based producer Kimono and 2 excellent new original
tracks for audio enjoyment. With previous releases on labels such
as H-Productions, Kombination Research, and Phobiq, Kimono is no
stranger to delivering perfectly crafted DJ tools for the dancefloor.
He starts things off with “Instructions”; Thick percussions are
layered with warm delayed synth plucks that perfectly blend with
dreamy almost melodic style synth stabs and make this track a sexy
late-night roller.
Berlin-based Tim Xavier steps things up on remix duties for his
version of “Instructions”. Heavy kicks and uniquely filtered
percussions really catch your ear straight away as he carefully
blends in elements from the original mix and throws in some of his
own personal touched FXs to give this mix a different feel sure to
please fans of Tim’s previous works.
Next Kimono introduces “Tolerance”, which is a
straightforward banger of a track with wide thumping kicks and
raw synth loops rounded out by gritty percussions that is tailored
for the peak-hour dancefloor.
Lastly, Miami-based producer Feph makes her remix debut to
CMND CTRL with a heavy modular style remix of “Tolerance”. A
fast-rising star, Feph has releases on Alchemista and her own
Zosimos label and has received heavy plays of her music by Oscar
Mulero, Psyk, and Charlotte DeWitte. Making full use of her live
modular setup, Feph plays with warm spacious synth loops layered
in with elements of Kimono’s original sounds. Feph keeps the track
moving with straight forward percussions and lets the modular
sounds go wild midway through the track. An interesting remix
that is sure to be well-received by the crowd.

CMND CTRL continues the relentless pursuit of delivering high
quality Techno music to the masses. We are pleased to present
CTRL015, which includes 4 tracks of dance floor rocking beats.
We welcome Juan Trujillo to the label for his debut on CMND
CTRL. Juan is an Argentina-based producer and the
Simplecoding label owner who has released on Developer's
Olympian, Jewel Kid's Alleanza and Lex Gorrie's Unknown
Territory.

Juan brings 3 well-crafted originals to this EP starting which the
track Indifference. Thumping kicks and distorted percussions
drive this track along as Juan weaves in saturated synth stabs
creating a dark and dirty mix perfectly suited to the late-night
techno crowd.

Juan changes gears on his track Volao, which is a fast-paced
bouncy track with light percussion and a squelchy type of synth
hook that will fit nicely for those peak hour DJ sets.
His last track, titled Where Is Your Honor, is a dark bubbling
hypnotic roller starring off with blipping synth loops and crips
percussions. Juan continues to carefully layer additional
percussions as well subtle background ambient that round out
this track perfectly. A great DJ tool type track.

Lastly, label boss B. Riley takes the reigns with his rework of
Juan’s track “Volao”. Brandon wastes no time going straight for
the throat with hard driving kicks and tribal tones matched with
fast moving percussion. He sliced up Juan’s original hook and
mixes it all together in one excellent tribal techno package.
Another fine release for the label that is already seeing support
by DJs such as Pan-Pot, Richie Hawtin, and Sam Paganini

dancefloor masses. Featuring a swinging tribal techno original 
by label-boss Brandon Riley titled “In Through The Outdoor”. 
Following up from his upcoming November 25th release on 
Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD label titled “Palm of My Hand”, 
B. Riley keeps the energy up on this well-crafted single. 

Swedish duo Benjamin Mull & Alex Frejenholm are first up on 
remix duty with a nice and warm mix for those cold winter club 
nights. With recent releases on Cari Lekebusch’s 
H-Productions, Create Music Group, and Gynoid Audio, Ben and 
Alex makes a perfect complement to B. Riley’s original. 

Lastly, well-known Columbian DJ/Producer Deraout takes the 
reigns with his remix to close out this EP. With previous
releases on GND Records, Rave Code, and Marco Faraone’s 
UNCAGE Deraout unleashes his unique production sensibilities
with a forward moving techno track that has already been 
blowing up dancefloors across South America. 
CMND CTRL closes out the year with a solid selection of sounds 
and sets the stage to raise the bar for their releases planned in 
2023 and beyond. Stay tuned!

MCR001 - Mind Control Radio Live

A native of the U.S. Mid-West electronic scene, Brandon Riley (aka B. Riley)was introduced to underground electronic dance music at a young age and attended parties in the dark warehouses and packed clubs of Chicago and Detroit during the early-mid 90’s.  Early exposure to DJ performances by such artists as Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, & Robert Hood left a strong impression and inspired Brandon to explore musical aspirations of his own. He found early success under the guise Disko Kidz, performing (often as a live performance) his blend of hard-hitting House and Techno that found him travelling the globe performing to crowds in countries such as Canada, Japan, and South America.  After a long hiatus from music, B. Riley started re-experimenting with more forward-thinking Techno sounds and had a well-received release on Tim Xavier’s Face To Face label. Brandon quickly established an outlet for his growing catalog of new music, along with artists he respects in the industry, by forming his new imprint CMND CTRL Recordings. In addition to his own material, his label has showcased both established and emerging artists such as Alex Asci, Alexi Delano, Orion, Psyk, Tim Xavier, & Ray Kajioka.   Expect to hear great things from B. Riley in 2022 and beyond.
