Brandon West and The Black Hats are a band formed April of 2010. Brandon West,Davie Graves, Robert Dickinson,Kathryn Smith and Dylan Jamail have musical backgrounds that all are able to meet and aspire collectively to create and share something honest and good with the world. This is a modern group of young creatives with a classic feeling of what good music is. Lead by a singer that's always as passionate and poetic as the seas are deep,as he reminds you that "There is always something more below the surface." Davie Graves ability to play the guitar is truly inspiring. Having played in every style from punk to the Mississippi blues,Graves is a musician that has been humbly sharing his own style with fans for many years and now with the discovery of a wonderful writing relationship, its undeniable that something good is cooking in the pot. Dylan Jamail, recently joining the band, proves to be a very talented musician on many fronts, taking up the bass within the band. Much talent and having an ear for good listening has given Jamail an ability for creating resonating music. Robert Dickinson, being extremely well versed and talented has drum capabilities that are more than respected. Sought after and inspiring many isn't new to him, but that list is getting a lot longer. Dickinson, also learned on multiple instruments, has a varied style that is the pulse of the group, always humble and looking to add to and share his knowledge and abilities. This collective of musicians is surely setting sail towards a very becoming destiny.
