Volume 1 is a collection of songs made in 2020 during the pandemic. Many of these were made in the park where I would bring my computer and keyboard and record in nature, I would fall into a meditation. Turns out the park where I made many of these tracks is called Meditation Meadow in Elysian Park. These are songs made from meditation for meditation.

Environmental Music Vol. 1 - Meditation VIII

I'm writing in sound, it is the mating calls of the Owl in April. I join in with my breath. I listen. The cracking of bark. The breeze of a wing, travels. Another tree and one in the distance. A call to attract, another to solidify a bond. To solidify a bond.

Whiplash, but I saw it coming. 
It's still a jolt. 
I step back, out of my heart. 
The pain for me becomes anger. I know better than to not allow the sadness, to feel my heart fully. 
I have tools to help me back in and I immediately turn to those. 
Music. 
I turn the volume up so loud, am I still drowning something out? 
I nourish myself. 
I play sound bowls and bathe myself in frequency. 
I care for myself. 
I am very much in my heart. 
"Are you in yours?"
I ask myself speaking in my imagination mind to the jolt. 
I feel a coldness, and put on a sweater. 
Acceptance. 
I will sleep tonight. 
Space.
