The track is clearly not finished and will probably evolve much more as I plan to add guitars and figure out what the chorus would really be, but I just wanted to throw it out here to give you an idea of where my songs are headed.

Contrary to the what the lyrics sound like at first, this track is about burying the past and letting go of hurt and anger. It's the death of those feelings rather than letting those kill a relationship.

Most of the lyrics I've jotted down over the past several months explore loss on many levels. What I've learned, though, is the undeniable truth that some things must die before something beautiful can be born. Like my previous recordings, I'm surprised by what keeps coming up when I just let the songs happen.
