CUSP is an integrated performance featuring an abstracted, multi-layered auditory experience and the physical portrayal of the internal actuality. Extensively detailing the human existence of an invisible illness; a circular representation of the unseen tangibles of which so many are intimately aware.

DEANNA JACKSON is a sound designer and composer with diverse artistic interest in collaboration, arts and technology.

She received her B.A. in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance from Spelman College. During her time at Spelman, she had the opportunity to travel and perform with Spelman College Glee Club both on tour and in numerous annual concerts for four years.

Upon receiving her B.A. she was accepted into the IMPACT (Interactive Multimedia Performing Arts Collaborative Technology) Summer Workshop Program at NYU Steinhart. This program culminated with collaborative group performances that allowed her the opportunity to perform with people from all over the world and sparked her interest in Interactive Collaborative Performing Arts.

Currently she is building her thesis to complete the M.F.A in Sound Design program at Savannah College of Art and Design. While building her thesis, she has maintained a consistent interest in using sound in theatrical and installation artwork to create an immersive, interactive, and organic experience for the audience while creating a collaborative creative process.

An exploration into the cultural identity of today’s youth as they navigate their similarities and individualities as members of Generation Y.

A cast of seven dancers express the chaos which defines their daily existence: that which affects their past, their present and ultimately, their future. As children of an era which boasted stability, longevity and life benchmarks - the rules have changed. It’s the Information Age and its corresponding youth are thriving. This is their voice - loud and clear.

Peregrine / 'Peregrin
A wanderer who changes his or her settlements frequently.

The expansion of genre integration on an artistic level held precedent within the creation process of Peregrine. Merging such genres as Direction, Dance, Illustration, Costume Design, Screen Printing, Film, Editorial Choreography, Soundscape, and Multi-Media Installation, into a single entity under the collaborative umbrella of a sole concept, guided the way towards the exploratory inception of a new creative expression. Peregrine began simply between Lead Collaborators, Brea Cali and Rita Fürsteanau, who desired to harvest a new incorporation of their arts under a single conceptual statement, "what happens in a room by yourself."

Performer, musician, graphic-designer.
Creates sound-performances and installations with bells, found objects, toys, percussion instruments etc. Collaborates with sound-artist and producer Stefan Zintel in various projects, TAFELMUSIK (Laptop meets toy instruments) a.o. Plays improvised music as drummer with the four piece band FLIEGEN UND SURFEN and rocks with SPIDO - ROCK GRAND CRU. Percussionist with ORLANDO & WEGENER and the Art-Pop Ensemble ORLANDO CIRCLE. Creates award-winning performance pieces in collaboration with a wide range of artists from sound-/lightart to theatre- and dance companies.
