SODAA Club is a community developing a decentralised governance model for a music & arts venue in London.

Their first release explores the foundations of their own sound - with members and friends of their commmunity, the 31-track compilation is "genreless and fluid, self-organised and bottom-up."

Inspired by the decentralised release of Alkisah by Senyawa, any label sharing similar values could release their own version : "the artists and the labels participating in this compilation believe in a more equitable and collaborative future for our scenes, one guided by principles of solidarity economy, distributed decision-making, and the rejection of capitalist notions of culture, music and space."

Tonight on @radioalhara we venture to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Courtesy of Cimmarón (@cimarron-se-fue) a Producer and DJ kind enough to let us sample the local goods.

As he ladles you generous portions of serious flavour, traditional notes should shine through. Argentina’s underground scene emulsifies regional sounds (say, Cumbilla Villera) with more current genres (think, hyper-pop). It’s a stew that’s making people shake their shit 7,000 miles away, but one that couldn’t be more relevant and on par with trends considered closer to home.

Ask Amsterdam-based @shalt , who’s mind-melting EP “2140” recently featured a rework from tonight’s guest. Alongside a fantastic collaborative release with @terrabrillante (TRAICIONERA), Cimarrón is gaining momentum. This month's stew delivers cunt by the truck load, so get in line.
