Tokyo based producer.
Influenced by many genres such as Electro, Acid, EBM, Italo Disco, Detroit Techno, etc., his wide range of musicality has been built up.

His EBM/Techno works have been released on labels such as Blackstrobe Records, Diffuse Reality, Label In Disarray, but his recent style has switched to electro, drawing on his past experience.

His first EP for Division Virtuel features three original tracks that are sublimated into modern electro and EBM while maintaining a raw, analog feel.

We're super excited to welcome the super talented Georgina Penstkart for mix #079 in the series. 

A video artist and VJ from Glasgow, Georgina has been resident VJ for the notorious Shoot Your Shot, and been VJ ing around Glasgow for the last 5 years.

Specialising in using modular video synths and old video mixers to create her work for her music and video production company, FLUSTERVISION, with Musician - SOFT RIOT. She also became resident visuals for Sync 24's advent on techno.net.

Long time lover of electro music, she used time during lockdown to invest in a pioneer and created mixes to keep entertained.

Georgina also holds down a residency on Glasgow's Radio Buena Vida and has affiliations with the Lunacy crew.

Georgina is playing tonight at Mash House for ona v's debut night, Circle, we highly recommend to be in attendance if in the area!

UK electronic legend Carl Finlow makes his full debut on Avoidant Records (Soma Records electro sub label) with the clinical Engines Of Creation EP. Easily one of the most highly respected producers to come out of the UK, Carl has a discography going back over 20 years and spanning multiple genres. After his first outing the label as part of the ‘Defend Your Planet’ compilation, Carl drops 4 classic, superbly produced cuts of hi techno electro funk.

Take an interstellar trip with Reckless, a track that bounds through the the cosmos, radiating its high energy output.

This is the first installment of new series for @DarkScienceElectro where I challenge my DJ friends all over the world to 'Define:Electro' music from their personal perspective. We all have our own definitions of what Electro means to us as individuals and this series hopes to share those perspectives with the listeners of Dark Science Electro - Over the last ten years, I have hosted tons of guest mixes featuring DJs from every corner of the globe who I’ve asked to give me their interpretation of ‘@DarkScienceElectro’ for their guest mix. Generally, in the past, when I am soliciting a guest DJ, I insist that they mix their “weirdest, darkest, coldest Electro” and that has served the show well over the years in pushing my personal narrative of the genre.
