Next up on Kaluki this September, we are welcoming another two label newcomers, in the form of Peruvian DJs and producers, Nicolas Caprile and Chinonegro who join forces to present the brand new, 'Sabor Latino' EP. Influenced by Minimal and Tech House grooves, these two friends and collaborators have seen their releases prosper on some of the biggest labels in the scene including elrow, Glasgow Underground, Great Stuff, Lapsus, NONSTOP, Stereo and more as well as playing sets alongside the likes of Phil Weeks, Coyu, Javi Bora, Olivier Giacomotto, Sebastian Leger and German Brigante. The dancefloor focused 'Sabor Latino' EP showcases both artists unique sound offering deep, melodic grooves, organic drums, hooky arpeggio bass leads, hypnotic atmospherics and chopped vocal shots throughout. Completing the EP is a fantastic rework of the titular track from none other than Darius Syrossian who adds his own stamp and flavour to the record offering a chunky minimal cut with smeared pads, pulsating subs, stripped-back bassline, sophisticated synth patterns and kinetic drum programming that gives the record the perfect bounce.

Chiqito is the next in line to make his debut on the famed Hot Creations imprint with his standout four-track EP titled Phantom Of the Opera. A big fan of the label, he fits perfectly into the diverse and celebrated catalogue. 

“Music means everything to me. I give out everything that rages deep inside me. As a kid, my parents and family listened to hip-hop and funky music. This sound is completely immersive and accompanies you to this day. I first heard House Music on the radio, and when I heard the high cymbal and groove in it, I knew I was going to represent this genre of music. This has since been heard in the "Chiqito" sound.” - Chiqito 

Dance Of The Sugar sets the tone for the EP with solid, tech-house beats, reverberated vocal cuts and a heavy bassline, before a break-down with a familiar melody takes you by surprise. Next up Phantom Of the Opera has a swinging groove and shuffled percussion, with hypnotic vocals that come into full play, making the title of the track fully apparent. Bumpa has more minimal undertones with delicate percussion, yet stays true to Chiqito’s sound with infectious vocal hooks. Last up, Freestyles is a pacey number with an off-kilter groove and is a perfect way to round off the EP. 

Chiqito has always been a music addict. In 2012 he released Gangbang on Cuartero’s Sanity Records, which helped propel his name into the limelight. An army of supporters ensued in the form of Jamie Jones, DJ Sneak, Matthias Tanzmann, Maceo Plex, Nic Fanciulli, Andrea Oliva, Carlo Lio, Loco Dice, Cocodrills, Nathan Barato, and many others. Releases soon followed on the likes of Elrow Music, Dirtybird, Snatch!, Brock Wild, Toolroom, Suara, Rawthentic, Stereo Productions, Inmotion Music, and I'M A HOUSE GANGSTER.

Andre Salmon returns to Hottrax with his latest EP ‘Satisfy My Bass’ alongside FreedomB & K-Mack. 

Arritmia label boss Andre Salmon has become one of the most prolific rising names within the house sphere with material on prevalent imprints including Repopulate Mars, Rawthentic, Too Many Rules, and Sola. Having featured on the label alongside London-based talent K-Mack last year, Jamie Jones' Hottrax imprint reveals another fruitful collaboration from the pair alongside a further collaboration with Berlin's FreedomB for 'Satisfy My Bass'. 

Salmon and FreedomB open the package with 'Yes, I Like Bass', an energetic peak-time affair that fuses rolling rhythms with robust chords and Jordano Roosevelt's alluring vocal chants to great effect. 'Satisfy Me' with K-Mack unveils another floor-filler, as Cami Jones' seductive vocals combine with trippy sonics, precise percussion and sweeping atmospherics to transport listeners to the early hours.

Rising talent No-e achieves a career milestone this October, making his maiden appearance on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations with the three-track A List. It continues a highlight 2021 for the Welshman, which has seen him release on Food Music, Nothing But and several other labels already this year. 

No-e spoke on how the release began to take shape, stating: “This EP came about from a real need for some escapism and an injection of high energy during the lockdown, so I wanted to make something that I would play in my DJ sets.” 

The title track begins with striking synth pulses and fast-paced kick-hat pairings, whilst old-skool disco samples march on throughout. Fleek manifests as a groovy, vocal-driven number, packed full of female lyrical samples that create a true celebratory feel, before Get It ends proceedings on an upbeat, feel-good note with warm percussion and a swinging underlying bassline. 

Welsh DJ / Producer No-e is quickly becoming a talked-about name in today’s electronic music realm. Cutting his teeth in his hometown of Swansea, recent releases on Food Music and All Night Long Records have caught the eye of several well-known talents, including Shadow Child, Alex Virgo and now Hot Creations head Jamie Jones.

Long-standing FUSE mainstay Rich NxT makes a long-awaited return to Hot Creations this October with the Vibewise EP. The three-tracker marks his debut solo release on the label, having featured as remixer on the imprint previously.
 
“Like a lot of artists, I naturally focused my time in the studio during our lockdowns, so I’m really happy to deliver this EP for Hot Creations now. Those in the know will know the reference to one of the excellent party venues in London, back when a lot of our journey’s started.”  - Rich NxT
 
The A-side sets off with Roll On and the title signifies the exact nature of the track. A chuggy, groove-paced creeper, borrowing a unique vocal hook from UK hip hop protagonist Einstein. Rich’s hallmark style leaves few prisoners in its wake, as swinging bass tones open into the techy sounds of Papermill. Gritty basslines meld into whirring synth pulses before the title track brings things to a close, with stripped-back percussion residing next to loopy kick-hat combos throughout.
 
As one of FUSE’s original residents, Rich NxT played a major part in the brand’s evolution, helping take it from a free afterparty to one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet. Elsewhere, the DJ / producer draws on his strongly identifiable sound to run two vinyl imprints, NxT Records and What NxT.

Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones joins forces with Cuttin’ Headz curators The Martinez Brothers for the first time to present the anthemic Bappi, an unmistakable powerhouse of a track that has been setting dancefloors alight all summer at their respective DC10 Ibiza residencies.

The A side features title track Bappi, a trademark bassline opens the record, developing with playful strings and sirens before distinctive Indian vocals are teased in, shifting the energy as it unfurls into a big-room Hot Creations hit. On the B side, Bappi (Warehouse Mix) magnifies the groove, as head nodding kicks combine with darker synths, creating an acid-tinged, smoky rework of the original. Look out for the Warehouse Mix dropping November 1st.

Spanning the last decade, world renowned DJ and producer Jamie Jones has pioneered his own definitive sound. His global event series Paradise is now in its eight season at the magical Ibiza home of DC10, whilst also landing in cities like Miami, New York, LA, Moscow and Toronto. Hot Creations continues its 2021 release schedule this February with a four-track EP from Josh Hvaal. Getting Better sees the UK talent return to the label, fresh from releasing his maiden EP, ​The Sound​, on the imprint in March last year.
Josh discussed how the release reflects his style, stating that: “​The ​EP gives you a very rounded view of my sound. I’m really excited to be back releasing music on Hot Creations, the label really feels like my home and I couldn’t be happier!”​
Basic leads the charge and takes no prisoners as it goes, pairing rapid kick-hat combos against layered vocal tones to create Josh’s signature late-night sound. ​Getting Better comes next, blending a retro acid vibe with an up-tempo lead bassline before the near six-minute ​Oi ​takes the form of a heavyweight techno number. ​Tiptoe brings things to an emotive close, showcasing Josh’s eclectic style with drawn-out chords and percussion-laden breaks.
Josh Hvaal ​has become a household name in the contemporary house sphere in recent times. It was in March that the young UK-native achieved a remarkable feat: releasing his debut EP on Hot Creations. Such an achievement didn’t go unnoticed, with industry heavyweights soon playing his music in the form of Joseph Capriati, Andrea Oliva and many more. Releases have since followed on Yousef’s Circus Recordings, Malgado’s Distortion and Hot Creations’ offshoot Hottrax, standing him in good stead for another successful year in 2021.
