Even in the fantastical floating universe of DJ Haus' Unknown To The Unknown, Cassius Select is somewhat of an anomaly. Sure like the rest of his peers on the label he's very much capable of inciting movement, although it's how he gets there that distinguishes him. His recent four tracker for the label is a case in point - with its jerky rhythms stumbling and clattering atop each other to somehow form a groove that's utterly insatiable. We've yet to find a pigeon hole that will accommodate this kind of ersatz mixed tempo Funk, although DJ Haus descriptor of the EP as "...mad mashed up hip hop IDM" certainly intrigues.

Coming at you from every angle in ways you probably didn't know possible, this 100% production mix of Cassius Select material is a tantalising look at the arsenal of a talented up and comer.
