Durante l'ascolto si viaggia all'interno di una  sorta di "macchina del tempo" immaginando l'impatto tra Theia e la Terra. Una composizione musicale che lascia spazio all'invenzione di suoni, caratteri e generi musicali mischiati tra loro immaginando i detriti, durante l'impatto con un pianeta così grande quanto Marte, che si  raggruppano gradualmente nel dare origine alla Luna, mentre la Terra rimarrà per lo più intatta.

“Liam McNeilly is a DJ and party host based in South East London. Alongside friend and Handclap brother Jon McKenry, he's getting ready to relaunch his Handclap party in the autumn which brings a laid-back house party feel and a focus on melodic, joyful house music. The pair also hold down a monthly residency on Deptford's Aaja Music, exploring branches of house, techno, disco and electronic music more broadly. 

This mix aims to play on some of the emotions that have been thrown up as restrictions begin to ease. I want the mix to conjure moments of introspection and uncertainty, alongside those of joy, friendship and promise. But the key feeling that runs through this mix - especially the second half - is one of relief, tied together by the energy of the closing track.

We're also currently preparing to mark one year of Handclap Radio on Aaja next month, and have some very exciting plans in the works for our first dance back together this autumn. Watch this space.”

Kelsey is an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

Kayangan Lake, often mistaken for purely freshwater, is actually a mix of rainwater and ocean seepage - making it one of the cleanest and most unique lakes in Asia. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs rising from deep underwater, it’s a vivid reminder of the connection between land and sea. The Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation (@prrcfi) works to protect this balance through coral reef restoration, reforestation and education.

With decades of experience, he brings his own special take on the techno music genre that he loves and adores since he was a young kid.
