Backstory//////
Dave Baker and I were recently on a flight back from Israel, the third seat in our row was taken by a young red headed girl from Preston Lancashire, who happened to remark that “she was afraid of flying” as she nervously buckled up her belt. 
So Dave and I tried to distract her with tales of our adventures, after playing her a few music clips, she said “Maybe you could write a song about me, on this flight”. My initial reaction wasn't particularly favourable, yet after a short nap I awoke with the beginnings of this new song I entitled "Buckle up" based on her experience as a volunteer at the "House of Hope" in Bethlehem, a home caring  for blind and vulnerable children and adults.

There’s a line in in the song that says: -
                         "HINENI": HERE I AM. SEND ME!
"Hineni" is a powerful Hebrew word. 
Which literally means, “Here I am”  
But watch out how you say it, because it is a way of expressing a total readiness to give oneself – it’s an offer of total availability. [As if we don’t fully know what we are letting ourselves in for]                      SEND ME!

I heard the strangest thing today 
About an ammunition factory, their making bullet proof vests   
Filling them with feathers [This is a true story]

A very different logic at work here

But when God wants to split the earth ………….He just sends up his little flowers

The Secret
After nearly 28 years, I am re-releasing this archive track.

But why at this time?

Well, I've chosen to do so, to acknowledge and honour the “Creator” and specifically His creation. That which mankind calls the “Natural world,” appears to have entered a season of unexpected release. 

Could this be the birth pang of creations magnificent finale, which the Psalmist and Prophets spoke of millennia ago?

The track is lyrically based on the imagery spoken of in psalm 148. It also embraces gleanings from the book of Job and Romans 8
In essence this psalm calls for “All Creation” - Man and Beast - to praise its Creator.

Originally recorded back in 1992 with my uber talented musical playmates Mat Wanstall (keyboard Wiz) and David Woodman (Thax man) With delicious vocals supplied by the lovely Eils Nevit (a.k.a. Miss-iles) Not forgetting the “other worldly “Job narration delivered by our very own sweet Irish imp Claire Stevens.

A day is soon coming when “The BOOKS will be BALANCED.” A day when “whatever we did to the least of these…. we actually did it to Him.” The Him I speak of is the "Chief Accountant" - the one who some know him better as Jesus the "Suffering Servant" their friend and protector.
For others He may seem an enigma, therefore invisible to their eyes. Whatever we may think... He thinks differently and He sees all things.

So when the books of our lives are submitted - none of us will be able to hide from His Spotlight.

Peace Peace? 
Clearly the events of May 14/15 2018 tell a very different story! 

Mankind needs an ANTIDOTE!!!! 

Psalm 122 encourages us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and those who live in her. 

As a follower of Jesus .....that’s the “outsider” Jesus...the one who offers mankind an inclusive way of Peace - I'm convinced that His heart is wide open to include all peoples made in the Creators image not just exclusively His cultural Hebraic family, but everyone, which undoubtedly extends to their cousins the house of Ishmael.

We’ve all screwed up....no one is squeaky clean....that’s why we need a Saviour 

So may I encourage you to 
*Pray without Prejudice if we desire Real Peace*
