To celebrate 10 years of Break Wind Productions here is a beautiful free track from Rick Tedseco - Lola's Rose.
This track essentially had no intention and no direction. Honestly, I was just messing around in the studio with some new software and hours later, a soon to be track had taken shape. This track you are listening to was done over the course of roughly two weeks and the day I finished it; the only thing that came to mind was my daughter, Lola. Perhaps this was due to her upcoming 13th birthday, or the years on end she had dealt with my speakers penetrating the walls? I decided to title this track “Lola’s Rose”, which is my daughter’s name (Lola Rose Tedesco) and it just so happens when I reached out to my good friend, Boba, he had mentioned the label was approaching a 10 year anniversary and I was excited for him, the label and the artists and DJs that have supported and promoted the label’s work over this period of time! I was excited for Boba, and I was excited about this track, and we mutually decided to offer this track as a free download to represent our appreciation to all of those who have supported us, as well as the artist, labels, DJs out there creating; regardless of style, genre, etc… So, please enjoy this free download and we say THANK YOU!

For the 74th release we have a bit of a family affair and here is the story why.
Back in 1999 Dhan Solo & Steve Tempo started a label called Free For A Girl Recordings which released their own music as the duo Varanassi.
Bobalino's first ever vinyl release was on Free For A Girl Recordings which was a remix of Mark Saunders track Strong with his band Axcess.
Dhan Solo later on joined forces with Bobalino to form the Breakbeat duo Curl & Dean.
Bobalino then started the label Break Wind Productions which is now releasing the 1st ever solo Curl release under the pseudonym Dhan Solo.
On this 4 track EP you will experience an assortment of styles, vibes & genres.
Love That is sonorous joyous euphoric broken beat banger with a celestial breakdown to send you bouncing to utopia and beyond.
On the remix Steve Tempo bumps us along with this deep bass low-slung proggy chugger with shimmering synths & hypnotic tones.
Working Saturday takes us on some glorious sunshine vibes with nostalgic pads and pianos flowing over a shuffling groove.

Break Wind Productions finally release the Kraken.
After many years working with the electronic band Axcess and Breakbeat duo Curl & Dean, Bobalino finally unleashes he's first ever original solo track and what a monumental piece of music it is.
Titans is a full on rolling uplifting orchestral banger with deep progression, cinematic feel and power vocals that will lift you beyond mount Olympus.
After working with vocalist Jay Furze on a previous track that was signed to the movie Community, the gods had spoken and Bobalino called upon this vocal talent once more.
On remix duties is new talent Zerkxes who brings the energy of the original down a few notches with this deep twisted melodic dubby monster, with Hip Hop beats and gritty bassline, this track will take you down into the depths of the underworld.

Danny Reject (Reject Beats/NSB)  :  The usual tight Break Wind production on display once again. Nice melodic breaks with a touch of something more sinister on the original. The Zerxes remix takes it to another place entirely! It might be a strange comparison, but it reminds me of the band Tool (a good thing). The vocals work great on both tracks. Nice!
Llupa (Disc Breaks/NSB)  :  loving the original on this, such a cool deep journey, so many layers but all work really well together so well - such great work! remix is very cool, such intensity, but it's all about the original for me.
Mark Allsworth (Digital Sensation UK)  :  Fantastic stuff once again from Boba - love the groove the beats and bass are fantastic loads of interesting stuff going on and really enjoy the overall epic feel of the track. Zerkxes does a great job on the remix as well - full support from me 
Gregory (VIM Records)  :  Original mix for me...great melodies and amazing floating! Support.
Lex (Ben n Lex)  :  Get on Boba thats some epic shizznit my beauty!! My fave yet.
Big Nick D (Big Square Records)  :  Pure Bobalino. Dispite being a bit suprised by the bpm & vocals, I like it. Floaty & tough & well put together, the more I listen, the more I like.

Curl (Curl & Dean)  :  oh man! the bass & drums take the absolute piss! they get a 11 out of 10! I don't think anyone makes beats like you do man! the fellas voice sounds mad! 
Parallax Breakz (Rune Recordings) : Great original - I love this groove, vocal and epic atmosphere. Bobalino is on fire. Remix from Zerkxes is nice too. There is deep flow and good energy in both tracks.

Quextal : Crisp production and a nice bit of singing... the song sounds familiar, not sure if it's an old one or I've just heard it recently, but either way it's a solid track.

 Bobalino has joined forces once again with the almighty vocal talent of
 Jay Furze and brought in the guitar skills of The Lemur.
 This time they bring you a epic breakbeat orchestral cinematic heart warming track, full of strings, horns,
 emotion and melodies that will lift you up on the darkest of days.
 The song was snapped up by the feature film "Community" and used on the closing credits. 
On the remix once again is the mysterious Zerkxes who once again takes things deep in the 
bass realms, full on spine tingling melodies bouncing around Jay's incredible vocal, this was also
 used in the film for the behind the scenes.

A few months back Boba was introduced by a very old friend to an incredible talent from Norway.

After upgrading to Ableton 10 I needed a starting project to get my head around it.
I started this as just a bit of fun to get used to Ableton 10 and things started to move along quite nice so I pursued onwards with it, I love the music from The Mandalorian so much, they took many risks with this and it paid off big time.
The composer Ludwig Göransson did such an incredible job to make something so original and so refreshing but still fits perfect in the Star Wars universe, it’s a masterpiece.
The tempo of the original theme is more in time with Drum & Bass, it actually started as a Drum & Bass remix of the theme but my first love is Breaks so I slowed things down to the bpm I love the most, re-wrote some of the melodies I wanted to use and added some Bobalino flavour.
While I was writing I kept hearing Mjölk’s voice in my head, so got in touch and as always, she delivered some beautiful haunting vocals to complement the vocals I had already include from the series.
I hope you enjoy; it was a bit of fun to play around with the things I love the most, Star Wars & Breakbeats.
Massive thanks to Mjölk for these beautiful vocals (new original stuff coming in 2021 from us) and a huge thanks to Rick Tedesco for sorting out the master and being patient with me to get it right.
