Growing up in the 80's in small town Ontario, Canada, Mr. Bassline Junk-E grew fond for the funkier and early classic raps with flowing MC's and breakbeat patterns. Moving to western Canada in his mid 20's, he ran into a new and intriguing sound which was called Canadian Funky Breakbeats and Funky Florida Breakbeats, which he grew to love and began to push! In early 2000, bringing his love for breakbeats & bass to a higher level, he jumped in the studio with a handful of bootlegs before moving on to his own production in 2002. In 2008, with brother Bass Charger, they formed "Breakz R Boss Productions. Mr.BLJ-E has 4 releases on the Canadian imprint Breakz R Boss Records but not before signing his 1st original release to Rapid Fire Records. in 2009, his track " Static " was signed for an Iphone game called IGLOWDOWN & his 1st bootleg "Dreamer" was remixed and played by international artists around the world. 2010 his remix was the 1st release on Breakz R Boss Records. Taking a break for 1 year to enjoy the life of his newborn entering into the world. We fast track to 2013 and 3 releases later. With chart toppers like Bring The Bass (Tripwave remix), & Numer Neuf (MartOpetEr remix) and having his music remixed by names like: The Flashback Project, Original Primate, Manion, MartOpetEr, Bartdon, Toy Quanitze, DRKWTR, Javi R, Dj Chaos, Dave Dialect. MR.BLJ-E is now a major staple in the recent sucess of BRB Records in the last few years! Stay tuned lots more in 2013 from Mr Bassline Junk-E himself. New Boundries, new sounds!

In 1999 dj bassik was introduced to electronic music, at a local hot spot club in edmonton called Therapy! All it took this well rounded musician was one night at this place to know he fell in love with the music,the vibe,the people and the dj's...He's been a musician his whole life with his main focus on DESTROYING drum kits, this kid is fuckin rediculous on the drums, playing/recording and touring in many succesfull bands, This is why he fell in love with break beats, being it drum drivin beats, His love for this music escaladed day after day and year after year! It was only 2 years after he started dj'n he landed him a residencey at the club that started it all for him, In that 2 years he quickly grew his reputation as the one of the top breaks dj's in edmonton and around, With his hard work and dedication to grinding his way to the top on the scene he landed him self on all the hot festivals in and around British columbia and alberta, opening for dj's such as FREQ NASTY, KRAFTY KUTS, BLIM, And many others...BUT there came a time and a point for him as dj where he did not feel fully satisfied as a dj, this guy has been writing music his whole life and doing it well, he then knew to take his dj career to the next level he had to start producing, he worked his ass off and worked with some good peeps, and got in the flow of producing some serious seriously sick breaks, with a very fresh new breaks sound, He has already been recognized for his tracks and has been getting alot of interests from other producers/promoters, and dj's loving his tunes... all i have to say about this kid is that he is all heart and he has so much passion for this music and making peopl move on the floor. if you havent already heard of this kid , you soon will...
