This is a song I wrote and recorded last year. I hope you all enjoy it :)

Tied To You

I was born on July 4, 1992 in Sacramento, California. I love the sun, beach, and all things California. A lot of people ask me how and when my love of music started, to which I respond, “I’ve just always had it.” My mom likes to say that I came singing out of the womb instead of crying, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a true story. As a child I was always around music, walking around my dad as he played his guitar.  That’s when my love for music began. As I got older I started singing in church, school plays, weddings, and other special events. Shortly after that, I began writing music. I completed my first song when I was 16 years old called “The Truth.” I recorded it when I was 17 years and later on went to a talent competition called AMTC where I showcased it for the first time. I remember the feeling of walking on the stage, singing, and walking off. I knew then and there this was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Music has always been a constant in my life. Regardless of my ever-changing interests, music was the one thing that always stuck. No one ever had to force me to pick up a mic and sing, or sit next to a piano and write a song. It was always something I loved doing. It is my hope that you all enjoy my music too and get a chance to experience in my love and joy for it. I hope that my music resonates with you, inspires you, and makes you want to pursue your dreams the way I have pursued mine. Above all else, I hope that you find something that you love as much as I love writing and making music for you to listen to.
