Jigsaw Forever

Aran Tides is a collection of music, field recordings and photographs made on the Aran Islands during the summer of 2018. 

The cassette tape features sounds that were recorded and composed for use within an installation presented at the MMT end of year show, Soundworlds, which took place in the CHQ Building in Dublin from August 16th - 17th, 2018. The installation used real-time tidal data from Kilronan Pier on Inis Mór to control and manipulate an auditory and visual display. 

The zine presents photographs taken on Inis Mór and Inis Oírr during the recording process as well as long exposure images of the lighting display which formed part of the installation.

All music, recordings, mixing, mastering and photographs by Brian Mc Namara.

Dublin Delight is a new four-track EP from Breen. Recorded mostly in Dublin city and made with live performance and the dance floor in mind, the EP takes a run through some high-energy, acidic dance tracks with a few twists thrown in.

Track two, ‘Rave Auld Times’ was made using dialogue samples from the 2016 documentary ‘Notes On Rave In Dublin’ with the permission of director James Redmond. The track was initially made for a different project that never saw the light of day so it’s presented here as a treat.
