In 2013 we had the opportunity to pitch for ‘BBC Radio 6 Music’, the UK's most popular Digital Radio Station.

Their goal was to have a clean, stripped-back, ‘organic’ sound rooted in their style. They were looking for both a news bed suite, and a unique set of production elements to brand their network. The BBC wanted to project an air of confidence, while keeping things simple. It was important that the new identity remain appropriate for ‘BBC Radio 6 Music’s established brand.

Our ideas were simple: Keep their sound at the heart of every ident and emphasize a newly composed 7-note sonic logo as the key feature of the re-branding. We created 5 production elements originating from a combination of real and electronic instrumentation, rooted in their musical style. Additionally the package combined an analogue feel with a retro electronic twist.

Hot Dance Radio - The Netherlands (September 2016)

Radio Beograd 2 is a national public radio broadcaster in Serbia covering worldwide art and culture. 

The station itself has six different departments in charge of selecting and producing content like interviews, live events, documentaries, radio dramas, classical music segments, etc. All departments focus on different aspects of a multicultural image while promoting diversity and global heritage.

The musical aspect of Radio Beograd 2 offers a wide range of genres and styles from around the globe.  With this kind of diversity, the idea was to create a jingle package that has all of these elements and all the appropriate articulations, harmonically imprinted within one sonic image.

After producing a jingle package, Radio Naxi turned to BreezeBox for more idents. As an established radio station highlighting local talent, they needed two fresh sounding instrumentals as top-of-the-hour themes to spice up their programming.

In order to maintain a consistent feel with their existing package, instrumentals were tailored to fit a 5-note sonic logo.

Being the only radio station in the Serbian radio market specialized in sport, Sport FM wanted more. They wanted to attract every potential listener on the market, the idea was to share their message using stronger and more assertive imaging.

Thus we created a package that included 10 identification jingles carrying a musical logo, running through the entire package. In addition to the basic 10 IDs, jingles packages were complemented by five sweepers.

Our “Jingle Prime 2011 Hot AC/CHR” syndicated package found another perfect spot to blast over the airwaves. Belgrade’s “Top FM”, a market leader, took the opportunity to re-brand with a fresh sonic concept.

Combining four elements of today’s popular demographics (dance, pop, rock and r&b) this package merged these commercial formats, to develop a stronger bound with a wider radio audience. Along side their new slogan “Beats that last!” we took their message to a new level.

Radio Novosti thus brings some of the most popular interviews in the region, news on every hour, and lot of community subjects important for the capital city.

News department is dedicated to bring "the news in style", so for their new news theme they wanted a combination of orchestral feeling blended with today's best rhythmical imaging elements.

Radio Espace based in Lyon (France) and owned by Espace Group, turned to BreezeBox and LPI Medias for a brand new sonic image. While playing the best Dance, R & B and Groove tunes, they needed to refresh their jingles to fit today's latest production styles. A new custom package heard in the north-east of Belgium on 106.9 (Aarschot) 107.9, (Heist op den Berg) and 107.8 (Westerlo) is guaranteeing Komilfoo FM, a popular CHR, stand out from the crowd.

Komilfoo FM is a pro music channel with a refreshing “no-nonsense” approach to radio. Tailored to the 18 to 49 demographic, with emphasis on the 20 to 45 bracket, they reach a young ‘trend-sensitive listener’ with an ear for quality hit music, news and information.

“The idea was to update our station sound with a new sonic image [that] could easily blend today’s best music with our new imaging elements. We had a set of voices from our previous package, but wanted new clothing for them.” says General Manager and Programme Director Gert van Laer.
