Fabrice David a.k.a Ken Zo - Born in Mauritius

Fabrice created @ken-zo-official while studying in Melbourne Australia. After 3.5 years, of playing in Australia, he returned to Mauritius in 2014. Now based in Mauritius, Ken Zo is on the forefront of the Mauritian electronic scene. As a DJ he is known to be verstatile, catering for a wide spectrum of genres from deep house to full on psychedelic trance. He retains this versatility with his compositions and fuses the sub genres of techno & psychedelic to forge his own take of 'PsyTech'. In 2017, he was awarded the Backstage Award for Best DJ. 
Fabrice grew up surrounded by music. His mother was his first music teacher going over the basics of piano and singing. His parents enrolled him for violin classes at the age of 7 at the Conservatoire de Musique Francois Mitterrand where he also learnt music theory in french. At the age of 13 he moved on to the Conservatoire de Musique Frederic Chopin where he was trained in piano and music theory in English. Simultaneously during his teen years, Fabrice experimented with many genres - pop, rock, rnb - and played in many amateur bands and orchestras playing guitar, violin and keys.
He started DJing and producing in 2007 under the alias Mr.Snob playing commercial and progressive house as well as an occasional techno set here and there. The beginning was mostly birthday parties and school fairs with very rare club gigs. His career started picking up around 2011 just when he flew off to Melbourne Australia for his studies. He performed throughout Australia under his knew alias Ken Zo, finding his place within the niche psychedelic community playing fusion sets of techno and psy.
After 3,5 years in Australia playing all over, he returned to Mauritius in late 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry from RMIT, Melbourne. Now, Ken Zo is one of the leading DJs in Mauritius and pioneer of local underground culture.

Din Esh or Sirius (Soupherb Records & Co-Founder of Absorb Sounds) was lucky to grow up surrounded by great music thanks to his friends and family, he therefore developed quite a selective taste but he didn’t know yet back then that it would also have an impact on him, meaning eventually dedicating himself more to the music industry, which happened as a calling or revelation after having attended some events in Australia where his love to electronic music just went to the next drastic level, and since he is quite shy and introvert by nature, it was the perfect way for him to express himself as loud as possible. Dinesh is very thankful to his parents who believed in him, they were extremely supportive by financing his first set of cd players and a mixer, and this is when it all started.

Started mixing Drum & Bass in Melbourne in 2009 but eventually dived into minimal-techno not long after when properly introduced to it. His style has been evolving throughout all these years but the main root of his selection can be classified in the techno genre. He believes that a set can be ritualistic, to spiritually celebrate ourselves and reconnect, just like a guided therapy using various sounds and frequencies to be heard but also to be felt physically, aiming to plunge into ones mind and soul then trigger the need to dance with a purpose.
Hypnotic, twisted, tribal, melancholic, sometimes even dramatic… progressive techno with a twist of psychedelic elements, inspired by the great outdoors and the underground vibes.

Since the choice to become performer, he has been having great chances playing in Melbourne, then travelled back to Mauritius where he stayed a years and absorbed a lot of the local energy which became a major motivation for his musical purpose. Now living in Berlin, Germany since 7 years, this amazing city is where he is pursuing his journey, taking things step by step, getting ready for the next chapter of his musical and personal mission. Goa-based Breger is not one to sit still. As the owner of @Kafka-Tempo and co-founder of @Copycow and @Beatplantation Festival in Germany, he has spent 20 years supporting underground culture. His music has appeared on labels like Zenon and Soupherb, with standout releases including Hippies in Danger. With three LPs and hundreds of tracks, he moves between minimal and raw techno, always carrying a dark and groovy edge. His love for psychedelic elements is evident in his productions and continues to inspire.

In his sets, Breger keeps things unpredictable, blending improvised sounds and samples to break away from repetition. He shifts freely between live and DJ sets, adapting on the fly. After a busy summer of gigs, he will spend the winter months in residency with the beach collective @VortexGoa.
