Breidenbach returns with its third vinyl release, a four-track V.A. titled Nothing Can Go Wrong — a confident outing from the Heidelberg-based imprint, built around minimal house aesthetics, dub accents, and deeply hypnotic cuts. Uniting artists from Japan, Germany, and Sweden, the EP brings together three distinct voices aligned by a shared sense of groove, texture, and restraint.

On the A-side, Sasaki Hiroaki opens with "Groove Keep Practice", a warm, rolling Deep House track laced with sensual female vocal snippets and dubby pads. Subtle delays, spaced-out beats, and a fluid rhythm create the perfect recipe for dancefloor hypnosis. FilOu follows with two cuts: "Stampede" on A2 is crisp and crunchy, driven by a syncopated, funk-leaning bassline and surrounded by micro-glitches, sampled stabs, and airy textures that keep things moving. On the flip, "Astral" expands the palette with similar percussive tightness, but the basslines hit deeper, growling through the arrangement with attitude — hypnotic, consistent, and built for long blends. Chris Llopis closes the V.A. with "Aetherial Haze", a bright and melodic entry full of FM-style synths, scattered vocal snippets, and dubby echoes. It’s the most playful moment of the EP, but still rooted in the heady minimalism that runs through the entire release.

With Nothing Can Go Wrong, Breidenbach continues to define its space — thoughtful, functional records built for DJs who know that less is often more.

Since my music evolved by time into a more progressive and darker style, this was a good opportunity to play happy tunes again. For their second release Breidenbach Label once more gathers six artists from their regional circuit. Connected by their floating and sometimes even hypnotic soundscape, pulsating pads and strong grooves, each of the four tracks has its own intimate style.

With Love Entropy @crecy-breidenbach-studio delivers a powerful and emotional ambient introduction to the A-Side. His fellow artist and close friend Ami adds a poetic layer: spoken word which shimmers through the sound, adding to the sentimental vibe. An atmospheric first serve. @klix-breidenbach-studio picks up the love theme and transforms it into a mesmerizing ear catcher called Give Me Love. The somewhat trancy elements accompanied by evolving patterns, vocoder-vocals and classy 909 drums give this track its enticing and unique character. 

Spaceloop on the records B-Side marks a debute release for the Mannheim based duo @seeder_official. They teamed up with @bennydelara to deliver a hip shaking dancefloor weapon that captivates through its strong and pulsating baseline combined with atmospheric elements that carry the records narrative. The EP is accomplished by Tech Report from the promising live-due @cvsocvso. While blending breaky grooves with atmospheric elements the listener may find himself surprised by a jazzy piano melody that is proof of their creative and forward-thinking musical mindset.

From the dubby deep via the stompin’ steep to some melancholic classics - here’s another journey into house music! I stitched this vinyl only mix together from old and new records from my collection on my home setup in January 2022 with hopeful vibes of anticipation for the comeback of our club scene. 

Tim Eder is collecting and spinning records since 16 years. Starting at the local dancing school in Mainz with an age of 14 years, he learned his craft and steadily improved his skills through several longterm residencies in the Rhein-Main-Area: Newbasement (2009-2015), Fiszbah (2013-2014), Red Cat (2014), VHAS & Slap! at Schon Schön (2014-2017), Dorett Bar (2013-2015 & 2017-now), Planke Nord (2014-2017) and Gebaeude27 (2014-2017). Since 2015 Tim is holding a residency at the infamous Dora Brilliant at Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt. Coming from these schools he is expanding his scope across the country and its borders continually. Besides deejaying, Tim is a graduate audio engineer, teacher and label owner of Feuilleton Music. Together with his fellow Fossar he is collaborating with ones like US house veteran Brothers’ Vibe or Detroit legend Gari Romalis and releasing music from international artists on vinyl featured by institutions like Phonica London, Technique Tokio or Gramaphone Records Chicago.

As the Breidenbach Label events were my first encounter with Heidelberg’s electronic music scene - long before I even got into DJing myself - this is a special one for me! The mix showcases the bit more ‚experimental‘ part of my music collection. Lots of breaks, complex percussion-patterns and some heavy bass-lines create a quite vivid listening experience. Hope you enjoy!

DJ Wait is an important contributor to the scene as his work in several collectives and projects reliably produces lovely events with an emphasis on local subcultural and (electronic) music. His DJ-journey started at self-organized open air raves, which soon lead to numerous club-gigs in and out of Heidelberg. Nevertheless he always keeps a strong connection to the local non-commercial scene.

Luise is a producer and DJ from Hannover. Her sound combines funky, minimalistic house with a lot of analog warmth and rhythmic 4 to the floor drums. The biggest influences are funk, soul, detroit techno and garage house. She has been playing and collecting vinyl records for almost 10 years.

The mix contains driving kicks, dreamy melodies combined with typical minimal House elements  and the raw 90´s house sound.

Trockener Sekt is serving sparkling tunes - minimal, micro house and house. She combines groovy baselines with bouncy-driving rhythms and meandering melodies. Sometimes a pinch of acid to spice it up. Trockener Sekts DJ sets are curated with delicate taste: for outside festival season with a sweet tooth for vocals and trashy 80s/90s hits from time to time, in the club with a fable for the dark and twisty. Refreshing as a sparkling drink can be! Trockener Sekt is co-host of the FLINTA*-booking minimal and house event @clubloyal in Wiesbaden.

This mix combines bouncy minimal tunes with dry micro house and an R’n’B remix. Reduced but multi-layered spheres of rhythms and melodies blend together with slightly trippy space sounds and ambient noises.

I always found it hard to focus on one genre when recording a mix, especially when I recognize what I feel inside of myself right now. Josh Bobzin (he/him) has been carving out dancefloors since a decade now, while switching permanently between DJ, promoter and dancer. He draws his selections from a wide range, always putting in warm layers and adding cheeky stuff. You will rarely hear a set sticking to one genre or being played in carpet-style. What started with illegal raves in off locations, countless open airs or small club events in his homebase Hamburg has finally lead to Flugmodus. With his friends from Lüneburg the crew quickly entered Hamburg and set the bar high for full-on rave experiences. In 2020 he co-founded Fluid Festival, which celebrated its premiere in June 2022. Under his alias Recorded Future he explores the ambient and deep side of things. Club sets are rather an atmospheric journey between deep techno, tribal and trance. Together with Smuseb he started rundum.club, which curates House and Techno artists in daytime and nighttime formats with the goal of achieving a safer/braver space for marginalized communities. His most recent project is Transmute, where Carl aka rh-rn and Josh create an intimate space to enjoy ambient & experimental music.

I am Atenea, a music lover living in Heidelberg / Romania. Within a group of friends that form balterhouse we share our
music and vinyl collection and organize parties.

For this mix I chose vinyls from the @balter_house vinyls pool. I recorded this set in Romania and tried to capture
my interpretation of the Heidelberg sound. I start with some candy-coated house, sprinkle in some bouncy
minimal here and there and end with some melodic techno. But listen for yourself!

Dj @Olf4 ist 27 Jahre alt und lebt in Wien. Seine Liebe für Musik hat ihn früh auf zahlreiche Dancefloors unterschiedlichster Partys und Festivals gebracht, wodurch er in verschiedenste Arten von elektronischer Musik eintauchen konnte. Seit 4 Jahren zockt er nun selbst gerne und ist Teil der Wiener Musikszene. Während er nachwievor ein offenes Ohr für viele Genres von Dub, Downtempo bis hin zu Techno und Trance hat, fokussiert sich olf derzeit auf House, Deep Tech / Minimal, Acid Sounds und Breaks. For our next release we´re honoured to welcome Thoergen & Willach to Breidenbach Studio. The producer & DJ Duo based in Cologne allow their audience to dive deep into the feelings this wonderful EP is emphasizing on.
 
Gegaffel features a pumping kick, ghostly reverberating pads, uplifting arps and syncopated percussion, subtle drums and a driving, predominant baseline that will make you forget about your whereabouts and carry you to wherever you want to be when it hits.

The second track, Rings of Saturn, delivers a more deep approach to electronic music, featuring epic pads, haunting vocals, a subtle kick and an impressively organic groove overall.
