Artist Statement

My varied singing career began when I started auditioning for a singing contest Reality TV Show hosted in Panama. It was a great privilege to have been part of that show as I gained essential experience during my performances on every Wednesday for 3 consecutive months plus another 3 months for the second time of participation in the same show. I consider myself a performer of Music. I would love to have the opportunity one day to sing with a Big Band Orchestra.

As all professional careers, there are ups and downs, and there are events that lead you to progress and to develop a new way of thinking and acting. Associating day and night with all of my musician friends and pursuing a better understanding of music, I am finding new ways to develop my musicianship. Another great step for me is that I have learned to compose my own songs by teaching myself to play the guitar.

I love to sing songs, sustaining the intensity and feeling the ecstasy while maintaining a rapport with my audience, similar to my musical heroes, Frank Sinatra, Celine Dion and Faye Wong.  I also enjoy collaborating with musicians who play string and wind instruments. This is the main reason I am hoping to study at The Berklee College of Music. In short, my aspiration is to find the right musicians to collaborate with and to develop the ability to understand and improvise through a deeper understanding of musical language. 

My devotion to Music comes from an indispensable need to communicate what I hear and feel in my mind and heart. Music creates an imaginary bridge allowing the World to see inside, through I need enough interpretative and creative skill to build it into existence. Finally, I have to thank God for giving me the talent; He also has given me the clarity to find the path I want to travel.
