Oxygen Mixing Contest

Brenda Lopez is an up and coming audio engineer with a passion for her work. With a wide set of skills and techniques, Brenda has built experience in both the recording studio and behind the computer, and has picked them up through multiple recording studio sessions and post-production work at Sanford Brown College. She has assisted in recording sessions with local bands and acts, whether it’s multiple members at once or a just one artist.

Brenda is expanding her experience by working on post-production projects, such as blending together various sound effects to create complex sounds that are added to video clips. She is also honing her abilities in the recording studio and is learning how to enrich her microphone placement for various instruments, such as drums, guitar, piano, and vocals. Her studio work has allowed her to work with outboard gear that has given her an immense range of sounds to use for future studio and post-production work.

Her background originated in musical performances at a young age and later developed into an interest in engineering and has now worked in producing and assisting in both her own music and in the studio with different artists. Having experience in performing and engineering allows Brenda to work with a broad perspective on how to perfect her craft. In the future, Brenda is aiming towards working in post-production on major motion films and animations.
