Strave is the 66th guest of the Set the Mood series. For him, the perfect opening set is about creating space for listeners to slowly let go, guiding them into a shared rhythm where energy can grow naturally. In this two-hour techno journey, he begins with deep and immersive tones that gradually rise in intensity. Every transition is shaped with care, evoking emotion and drawing the audience into a hypnotic and organic flow. Inspired by last summer and the unforgettable sounds of Dekmantel Sunday, the set carries freedom, energy, and rhythm through every beat.

Plenkutis discovered electronic music thanks to a friend who handed him a stack of CDs – one of them, The Cinematic Orchestra – Remixes 98–2000, became the spark that drew him in. What started as curiosity soon turned into a way to express emotions through rhythm and sound. Three years later, he’s played in various events, with the Valley Stage at Yaga Festival standing out as a truly special experience – a place where every set feels like a ritual on the hill.

His music is eclectic and full of contrasts, blending groovy techno and house with Detroit-inspired, hypnotic, and melodic sounds. For Plenkutis, music is emotional storytelling – a journey of feeling, movement, and imagination, where each mix flows like a soundtrack to moments that can’t be described in words.
