Please tell me you didn’t write this in 15 min😆. Superb arrangement. I’ve been eliminating “ solos “ in my songs. And in place of them I will write a separate piece to carry back to the verse/ chorus etc. I think all my listening of classical music is making that easier and making more sense. I have no formal training / theory, so to me that’s critical.. all that listening pays off. Ok.. I’m rambling. I love your music. Oh… don’t ever..let someone tell you what “ your best songs “ are.. . Each listener is different and you need them ALL 😆

After that I'm not sure what's happening , but plenty in the pipeline and nearly completed . as it slowed to a stop against the star field and faded to deep red...
then vanished.

This song began when Joe, feeling a bit nostalgic, wrote the lyrics and composed it on his acoustic guitar. He recorded it and sang it with expert harmonies, then decided to share it with Eclectic Collective. We were all very excited to get work on our second song with Joe, as we all admire his songwriting.

  First up was Tez this time, oddly enough. He was able to identify all the fill spots and light up the solo without the rest of us even adding anything yet. Next came Ken, who usually goes first, adding his steady grooving drums and tasty percussion. Once the drums were down, Josh completed the rhythm section by adding his fretted bass. He also worked out an organ part to give the whole sound a bit of thickness. Also adding some thickness and texture, Stephen added a clean electric rhythm part, as well. 

  Once we had it in can we asked Stephen to mix and produce it for us, which he did in his always expert fashion. 

  This, as mentioned, is Eclectic Collective's second song with Joe, and we all enjoyed bringing it to life with him. He's a wonderful collaborator and an all around good dude. Do yourself a favor and go check out his page, which is rich in great songs. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

Hi! Thank you so very much for visiting my soundcloud page and for supporting my little songs with your likes and amazing comments.  I am so grateful for your time.  If you have decided to follow me, all I have to say is that I am honored! Thank you!  I have posted some tracks, mostly from my first album soon to be released. 

I write, sing, play piano/keys, arrange, produce, and can perform live all of my own songs. I work with real players both live and remotely. What I do and the way I do it takes time, effort, and money. I don't use any A.I. to write my songs, arrange, do vocals, or anything else. Some A.I. company recently claimed that people don't enjoy creating music because of the time and effort it takes to practice and learn etc...and I believe this to be somewhat misguided. I love practicing, learning, listening to the greats, and working on my music. Furthermore, I can't see the point in having software do the creating for me. What would be the point?
