I came across the words in the porch of the Star of the Sea Church in Seafield, Quilty - As I couldn't find a melody to them, I wrote this one myself.

This song commemorates the rescue of French sailors in 1907 off the coast of Quilty, Co.Clare
I came across these words in the porch of the Star of the Sea Church in Quilty, and they were written by Joseph Meade - I edited the words a little, and composed the air.
