This is a rewrite from a jam I had with Bret in fall of 2015. This is how I like to write music - spawn a new idea, record a demo, slap it out into cyberspace. The take is rough, but the ideas are there. It needs another section to land into because this is a very busy beginning to something.

This is Jason Dooney's song. I helped him write parts and the song has been stuck in my head since we wrote it. I filled in parts of the demo where we left off, so here's a non-official version of the tune.

Slow Motion Suicide (demo)

I wrote this song several years ago on a trip to New Hampshire with my father. It was written on his friend, Jamie's Martin, in a standalone recording studio / carriage house Jamie built.  The creation of this song marks one of those times when you feel like a vessel for information being transmitted through you.

I struggled with a drumbeat for this song over the years, and finally picked something yesterday which served the song. Check it out. It's a demo!
