Inspirations

Both edges of the same blade slash strings. Up and down beat rib cages and break hearts free for the fall—on the floor and for you. Feel the thump; the lump in your throat transmogrifies like, this tastes like wine but has the mouthfeel of human blood. It’s not wrong—all that matters is that we try our best and have fun!

Words to live by. And Brendan has accordingly lived another year.

Entire set was improvised, just had tracks organized ahead of time. Venue constraints meant we had to keep the bass levels low. I've EQ'd these back, but it's a little inconsistent because it was EQ'd manually on the mixer channel EQ per track.

Progressions Volume 1: Warts and All

A deeply personal set recorded live at Futuristic Fairy Festival 2024. This set has some of my favourite songs from when I was 12, 18, 22, and my undisclosed age now :)

A recording issue meant the second half is recorded in the studio, and I teared up a few times while doing so.

First time closing a Berlin club, and I couldn’t have asked for a better night. Huge love to everyone who came through — your energy made it. Playing the Holz floor at Süß was a dream, weaving through melodic house, dark disco, and flashes of pop to keep the pulse moving. Massive thanks to @anice for bringing me in and making it happen. Got a lot of kind words after, and it meant the world. Hope to do it again soon.

Brendo moves between worlds: past and future, tension and release, control and chaos. A longtime collector with a deep ear, his selections drift through foggy warehouses and dimly lit corners, where rhythm is felt before it's understood. Now based in Berlin, his sound reflects the city's underground pulse but never settles into the expected.
