"Three years ago, Harley & myself met in his bed room studio for the very first time. This track was actually an idea from that very session.

Today we find ourselves back at home, together, after many months on the road from our various projects. 
Our core focus to finalise our forthcoming Singles, it feels symbolic that three years on we find ourselves coming full circle to finish this same song we started that very first day.

We reflect on how much has changed & how much is still the same. From my 9-5 desk job to now writing music & DJing around the globe. From his bed room ambitions to being the forefront of dance music subculture. We're still two young dudes, that love the ocean, hanging with our friends in the city we've grown up in & hunting for things that inspire us.

This song is for all you lovely people that have made our dream a reality.

This project was really fun to put together! I’ve coupled with videographer Evan Adamson, of Indigo Beyond Creative, and surfer Kameron Brown to create both an audio and visual experience for you guys. I worked to create a specific vibe on this track and Evan had the vision to create an awesome video! I got my dad to lay down some guitar to really make this track unique.

More video collaborations with Evan are on the way. So without further adieu, I present to you Venice Ventures!

I wrote it at the end of 2015, when I thought about my music and project and I told myself "Go where people don't expect you, try something different", then, "Jungle" was born.

This new explosive constellation formed by David Miret, mexican born multi-instrumentalist and streetmusician together with longtime UrbanWorld Records producer Al Lindrum is set to cause a stir. SuperPendejos presents their debut release on UWR, a three track Ep showcasing some of their trademarks. Lots of Tropical sounds with accordion, melodica and hornsections mixed up with organic fat beats and big basslines. 
 

The title track Ya Sta Qi takes digital cumbia into new territories adding a deephouse feeling to the phychedelic sounds of cumbia. La Princesa De La Cumbia is a deep slow building cumbiabass track that just grooves on and on for dancefloor pleasure. The SP Airlines track shows a bit more of the multi-influenced SuperPendejos Universe with its deep hypnotic groove and its turkish/armenian touch with the duduk flute to create that shamanistic feel of pure energy, love and happiness that Superpendejos is all about. 
 

For remixing these tracks we wanted something special, so we tired to find remixers who could take them into new dimensions. The remixers were all chosen by SP themselves because of their amazing production skills. 
 
Fort Knox Five handed in a fantastic funky breakbeat edit of "La Princesa De La Cumbia" that shows why they are one of the foremost producers in their field. Professor Angel Sound abuses "La Princess De La Cumbia" into a mad moombahtonistic remix straight outta the panamerican jungle. Dixone took on the "SP Airlines" and totally ripped it apart creating a new style . at UrbanWorld we now call it "BerlinCumbia" 
 

All tracks originals and remixes should be sure to rip up dancefloors around as well as create a unique feeling when listening at home.

Esta nueva constelación explosiva formada por David Miret, multiinstrumentista y músico de calle mexicano-barcelonés, y Al Lindrum, productor y viejo conocido de UrbanWorld Records, va a ser un bombazo! SuperPendejos presenta su debut en UWR, un Ep de tres temas en el que dejan ver su caracteristico estilo. Muchos sonidos tropicales con acordeón, melódica, y secciones de vientos, junto con potentes beats orgánicos y bajos enormes.
 

La canción que da titulo al Ep "Ya Sta Qi" lleva la cumbia digital hacia nuevos territorios, añadiendo un feeling de deephouse al sonido psicodélico de la cumbia. "La Princesa De La Cumbia" es un tema cumbiabass que se construye lentamente para crear un groove que hará las delicias del público en las pistas de baile. El tema "SP Airlines" enseña un poco más del universo SuperPendejos, un groove hipnótico y deep, además del toque turco/armenio de la flauta duduk, para crear una sensación chamánica de energia en estado puro, amor, y felicidad, que representa el verdadero sello de SuperPendejos.
 

Para los remixes de estos temas queriamos algo especial, de modo que intentamos encontrar remixers que los pudieran llevar a otras dimensiones. Los remixers fueron escogidos por los propios SP, basándose en la calidad de sus producciones. Fort Knox Five aparece con un fantástico edit funky breakbeat de "La Princesa De La Cumbia" que demuestra por que son uno de los nombres principales en su escena. Professor Angel Sound abusa de "La Princesa De La Cumbia" creando un moombathon remix de locura total, directamente desde las profundidades de la jungla panameña. Por último, Dixone despedaza el tema "SP Airlines" dándole la vuelta por completo y en el camino creando un nuevo estilo ... en el cuartel general de UrbanWorld ahora lo llamamos "BerlinCumbia"

update on my life for those who care 
recently my computer broke and it’s more than just a simple fix it’s gotten to the point where it’s broken or not working so much that i can’t even begin to finish ideas that i have been working on for a while

 this all comes at a time where i feel like i am finally back creatively, because as some of you were probably able to tell i wasn’t in the best place last spring into the summer and it took a big toll on me 

i’m putting myself through school and don’t have any extra time or money on my hands that i don’t spend on music. 

but i want to not only give back to you guys but also give you a chance to potentially help me get my computer working 

so i’m giving you this pack in return instead of just asking for money 

it includes every single song i’ve ever put out including things i’ve deleted, and things i haven’t finished/ released yet as well as both of my sample packs 

i understand that some cant or don’t want to support me this way and that’s fine a retweet or forward to someone who does will help just as much 

music is my therapy it’s what gets me through anything negative happening in my life and i genuinely feel connected to the people who listen to my music and i seriously love all of you for giving me so many opportunities none of it would be possible without YOU 

I’ve met my best friends through this music thing and for them, all of you, and me i don’t want this to end 

there is so much new music that i have in the works that i’m proud of and just want to finish and let you hear but obviously with out a computer that’s impossible
