Recorded on Garageband with my iPad.
Using my Custom Brent Adams Teleblaster guitar
through my Roland Cube Street using the "Brit Combo" setting
an old High Spirits Eastern Red Cedar Lil Hawk flute 
I changed the flute to a 6 hole from a 5 hole.
The drums were created on Garageband using their "SmartDrum" and my input.

Dancing In The Dark

I had recorded the "Night Sounds" of the crickets in my backyard.......

So, I decided to add this to some flute music I played just for this purpose.
A peaceful, relaxing evening tune.
I recorded this with my Falcon Flutes Triple made from Flaming Box Elder by Dana Ross and tuned to "F#, F#, & C#". I used the F# as the drone with both the mid "F#" & the "C#".

Nocturnal

Cary On! 
This is our Family motto. My Bride's Family Name is Cary. We are a very close and "caring" family that really loves to be together.
We have had a lot of sadness this year with loss of many in our family. Some partially expected.... some very sudden and shocking.

.... but we "Cary On"!

This was recorded from a guitar chord progression idea, and it built very easily from there.
I started with my Ovation Standard Balladeer played to a "click track". 
Added my Woodsounds Custom Flaming Box Elder mid "A" flute with Tulipwood end caps and Boise de Rose rings & Turquoise inlay.
Added a GarageBand "Drummer" to play what I needed for the tune....
Then added the Acoustic Guitar Lead part, again using my Ovation.

Breath Deep....

I started with my Earth Songs Udu.
Then simply recorded my beautiful B Native Flutes "Eb" Spalted Ambrosia Maple and Paduak flute.

Yes... Take that breath.... "Breath Deep"

An idea from working on a Backing Track that was difficult to follow....... I created a backing track that was similar, but had a definite structure and played the same flutes over it.

Started with my Ovation Standard Balladeer.
Added a very basic pad from a free download.
Recorded my Mad Max low ""A" Easy Reach Bass flute made from Sapelle.
Then added my Mad Max mid "A" made from Purpleheart & Yellowheart.

Getting to know my new Rav Vast Tongue Pan Drum
This one is tuned to their "G" Pygmy Scale
The first time sitting down and trying to come up with a tune.... this is the result.

December Cold Supermoon

Recently receiving my first Rav Vast Steel Tongue Pan Drum, I have been looking forward to trying to combine it with my Native Style Flutes.

I started with a click track and played the Rav Vast "G" Pygmy Scale Drum to it.
I then listened and played my Woodsounds Cedar Classic "G" minor flute to it, recording the flute track after about 6 times through.
Both were recorded with Shure mics run through my Roland Cube Street which went directly into my MacBook Pro into GarageBand.

Joyful Noise

The RAV Vast "G" Pygmy Steel Tongue Pan leads things off here.
I added the Tree of Life Canary wood mid "G" flute.

Mid-Winter's Eve

In Space...
I love music....  and I love Sci-Fi!

Thinking about some of the mysteries of space travel in the movies I've seen, I decided to try to create that feeling in music.
This was the result!
I started with simple click track playing my RAV Vast2 "B" Onoleo Tongue Pan Drum.
Then i played my Woodsounds Myrtle Burl Classic Flute in the key of "E" minor. I discovered that this works with a little extra work over the "B" Onoleo scale of the RAV Drum, much to try delight.

In Space

I wanted to get back to my basics.....

Started with a very basic drum beat with my Sweat Lodge Frame Drum then adding a little change in it.
Came back with another frame Drum (slightly higher pitched) adding the "2" beat. 
Then added my Cajon Tab, spicing it up a little and strengthening the drum sound.

Added my High Spirits Condor Bass "D" minor double flute made from Eastern Aromatic Red Cedar.

Islander

This song has been a part of my music career since about 1968. 
I played this in many of the first "Bands" that I was involved with.

This version is my own.
I recorded it for one of my albums, "Stand Tall", but this is a newer version.
Recorded with my Ovation Standard Balladeer, claves, and my High Spirits Native American Style Flute tuned to "A" minor and made from Eastern Red Aromatic Cedar.
