Trying to see how far away I have to get from the webcam microphone to avoid distortion. Once I finished a few chimes I brought the resonating, steel potlid closer to the microphone + hit stop.

My most ambitious collage so far, over 6 minutes long. Very little effects, much more of a narrative flow. Juxtaposition of words with sounds, some looping but I kept that to a minimum. (ps. the more I think about this .. it is really an homage to Revolution No. 9 from the Beatles' White Album).

This is more a collage of sounds, dialogue and speech snips with 4 words looped as the heart of the composition.  It is really along the lines of the early electronic music experimenters. I included backwards elements and muddy dialogue.  I could add more but I'm going to leave this at a sparse 90 seconds.

Lo-fi and distortion ridden version of a song as heard on an Animals compilation.  Sounds like a sound demo from a box set.  I could take this song and do some permutation of the lyrics.  Just felt the urge to sing and share.

At first I thought "rote" was wrong, but this is a mechanical repetition in voice, emphasis, and tone.  This is read from a list of ~micro rhymes~ that I've collected over a long period of time.  I chose a paper that was nearby and just read from the beginning.  Some of the words are from recent reporting, some inspired by events.  I just clipped out the parts where I fumbled due to no rehearsal for the reading. This is a demonstration and an experiment in progress, do hope you find it unique.
