Channeled my inner RAGE, layered as a loop in the old victoria and E3rd house in the basement. I got a few loud foot stomps from the landlord above for this one...it was worth it.

After my good buddy JJ reminded me about how we used to cruise with girls reveling in our depressed misspent youths listening to Red house painters (one of my all time favorites), I was channeling a little Kozelek at the time. Also was experimenting with the pre-loaded beats on the ZOOM effects pedal. Written again as a loop.

I used a soft mallet i made to drum on the guitar to create the beat, and a horsehair snare brush. Although i play a pretty weathered Simon and Patrick, the L.R Baggs pickup was something i was experimenting with at the time to see how much ambiance and tone i could create. Everything i create is usually done on a simple boss RC-3 looper.

Self taught musician, mostly dabbling with my loop station these days-using a lot of beat box and or guitar drumming for percussion and looped guitar. Very simple setup, as I get turned off with too much software. I am almost at 100 loops on my loopstation..these are but a few over the past few years. I hope to use some of these ideas to eventually make an album. Interested in talking with and playing music with others. Would love feedback and suggestions as to how i can improve, and different areas to explore.
