➤ Release Info:
Knautic's debut on Random Collective is two original tracks of the highest originality. Dark tinges, laced with a quirky edge and shuffle, and a contemplative patience about them. Every last detail has been put and placed with intent, to be appreciated for eternity. 
Remixing these beauties was a tall order. So we enlisted 2 capable parties, Random's own Funka picked up the pace straight to the mid tempo dance floor with a driving bass line and colourful use of the original samples, spoiler, there's a killer jazzy breakdown. 
Finally Kusht came in heavy, with an absolute smashing remix of Redemption. Its a trip, it hits hard, right where the club crew like it.

Linda Westin’s visual message offers brightness to things being hidden in the dark. Her alternative view on reality has inspired me to restate and go deeper on my search for the truth.

For centuries humans and animals alike have been wondering, what is going on up on that silver ball in the sky, that is appearing during night time (and sometimes also when it's bright). There have been countless myths around the moon – some are funny, some are weird, but we finally discovered what has really been happening all this time:

There is a rave going on, and might we say, it's a pretty slow one for that matter. We also sent a mission up there, to confirm our findings and pump some fresh tunes in the grey desert.

Manned by Suisse based AVEM and Mawa from the LOKD brigade, our rocket ship set out for earth's little sibling. Just like Voyager in its day they packed a variety of earths finest sounds whipped up into an interstellar EP that features four spacious but heartfelt songs and three reinterpretations, thought of by some of our finest friends: DAENGER, Gun!lla and JOIA.

You wanted to go with them?
Well, gladly there's this little Taxi here, that makes the travel at least once a day, but if you slide the sloth behind the wheel some of your space cash, we're sure he'll give you a ride.

Enjoy responsibly and remember to wear your helmets!

Seht! Es ist zwar nicht das Original, aber immerhin sein Leipziger Neffe: «Kapitän Planet», der mit bürgerlichem Namen übrigens Ninze Taschenbier heißt. Er landet gekonnt im Zentrum des Geschehens, stämmt die Fäuste in die Seiten und schlägt einen Mediationszirkel vor. Die Gauner mögen den Vorschlag nicht und verjagen ihn. Während er zum Abflug ansetzt, erklärt er uns noch schnell, weshalb Plastikmüll keine gute Sache ist. Dann reckt er seine Faust gen Himmel und flattert in Richtung seiner nächsten Mission davon. 
Wir lieben dich Kapitän Planet!
Bevor er die Wolkendecke durchbricht, wendet er sich noch einmal zu uns um und ruft: «Der Zonk ist so gut wie nie hinterm dritten Tor!»

LOKD010 has arrived, this time by one of our very own label heads, and good friend, @avemsdream. 

Representing our hometown Basel over the last years, this time Boris is going all the way back to the 80’s. Having deep in his roots the disco days, mainly because of family business (his father in a concert in 1985 is our artwork for this EP), he has created his own new interpretation influenced by the golden era. 

Our new Disco Days EP is accompanied with remixes from our dear friends @yolanda-frei, and @buchneroberst. Which have been specially selected to bring their well known twist that has made them stand out in our scene for a long time. 

Even though it took some time, we are very happy to finally release his first EP in his very own home, @LOKDbasel.
