When is it acceptable to call it a quit? You will always feel relations are worth fighting for and you try and you try once more and so on. Until you realize, it's your last try - your final call.
Melodically this is quite upbeat. I don't know about others taste, but I think it fits melancholic lyrics very well.

This song is about hanging on.
Life isn’t always wonderful, and sometimes your dreams end up buried beneath layers of years of dust.
