Sometimes I’m so Confused is a collaboration of 1 year’s work in a total online environment. We wish to thank Indaba for their vision in encouraging musicians to collaborate together from all over the United States & the World. 
The following musicians have made this project possible. It was their dedication to professionalism and musicianship along with their patience in the technology that brought together such an ambitious project. If you listen to the song you will see the complexities involved. The song is striking in its originality and in its familiarity. Bret has a deep love of all types of music. He enjoys the technical side of music production from engineering both studio & live sound. He is surrounded by music almost 24/7 as owner of 3 Radio Stations. You hear Bret’s percussion talents in this song. His many complex rhythms prove his ability to adapt to many various genres of music.

Jeff has been playing guitar for many years. Jeff is much more than a guitar player. He is able arrange great string sounds through his midi guitar and his many software synths. He has a keen sense of arranging as will be noticed when you hear this song. Jeff took a good song and helped transform it to what hear in the song today.

Boris has classical background. In his own words, I’ve always wanted to do cool music. His most intense experience is when he first heard the Beatles. He writes & produces various kinds of music from blues to techno, from ethnic to lounge. Some call it eclectic. Boris shows off an inkling of his talents on the bass in this project. Listen to the song tune into the bass guitar and you will hear harmonic melody & counter rhythms that will have your ears saying that just the right note was played there.

Piano/Keyboards/Composer

Michael has been composing for over 40 years as a piano soloist. Never giving up his dream of composing complex musical pieces he is indebted to this group of musicians who have helped him achieve a beautiful piece of music with live instruments. He credits himself as the main composer to this piece but admits that some of the ideas were given to him by a grade school friend who inspired him to play the piano. He states’ “We create in a world of musical geniuses. We hear what we like and it enters our being. From inside if something comes out that is original it’s only partial because we heard it somewhere out there before. Listen to the song and you will hear his influences. The ending of the song is a variation of Mike Oldfield’s tubular bells but the group’s talents has turned into awesome ending that completes this rock symphony.

"Music is what feelings sound like"

I have always had a deep love of all types of music. As a kid, and still today, have an appreciation of everything from rock, progressive, jazz, cinematic, to electronic and country music. I have always enjoyed the technical side of music production from engineering both studio and live sound. I am surrounded by music almost 24/7 with 3 radio stations. My best and most natural skill is with the drums. I record and mix using Sonar x2 Producer. My biggest musical regret is that I have never learned to read music.
