THE CHILL ISLAND | PANDORRR @ Esoteric Festival, AU [2022]

This set of ambient and chillgressive music was performed at Dragon Dreaming Festival between 5am - 7:30am on Sunday 3rd April 2022 on the Fire Stage.

Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. Hope you enjoy <3

Dragon Dreaming Festival 2023

This week's exclusive mix is from Oakland-based producer/instrumentalist Devin Kroes. The mix features tracks from his new release “Whispers from the Trees” out this week on Street Ritual, as well as some additional choice tunes from his catalog. Middle Eastern flavored rhythms merge and meld with intelligently-crafted bass production, holding our attention from start to finish.

Devin Kroes is an electronic music producer and multi instrumentalist with a desire to awaken and inspire his listeners. Based in Bay Area, California, he seeks to sonically recreate the aesthetics of the world around him with squishy bass and sultry strings. His music seeks to create a sense of familiarity while transporting the listener into the depths of the infinite.  He seeks to provide a unique live experience by utilizing live guitar and a looper, allowing him to improvise and making each set immersive and captivating for the listener.  Watch out for this up and comer as he continues to push the boundaries in the roots of world music, bass, & livetronica.

Hailing from the vibrant London, the lively Ben Murphy is living on a rollercoaster at the moment, constantly releasing fast deep-tech gems infused with UK garage flavour, within which shuffling drums and rolling basslines are free to flow underneath, spreading positive vibrations all over the dancefloor. He's also the owner of Music Related Records, where he had the chance to release brilliant cuts from the likes of Ray Mono, Melhor, Kreature and much more, becoming a point of reference for the UK becoming a reference point for the UK scene and beyond. His track "No Stranger" was definitely one of the peak time on the "Tamango Shots Vol. 1" compilation, and we can't wait to see what's the future has in store for him.
