Coming off his biggest summer yet, Brett Hartt makes his sophomore appearance at Splash House August 13th, 2023. This set was a seamless blend of NoyzNtheHood originals, unreleased edits and few familiar bangers. 

His track selection and vibe set the stage properly for Tinni Gessler who followed him immediately on the decks. 

With humble beginnings and headliner talent, Brett is positioning himself as a staple in the new wave of dance music producers coming out of Los Angeles and will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.

UK Garage & Speed House: MVMNT MIX 2 | The Evolution of Dance Music

While in Florence, Italy, I came across Mikado at a daytime sandwich cart before catching a bus to the countryside. The track instantly caught my attention—I Shazammed it, talked to the cart owner about Ele A, and knew she was next up.

This remix keeps the essence of the original while bringing it into a deep house space at 120 BPM. Layered with elements from the track, it maintains the vibe while giving it a club-ready feel.

Ele A is one of the most promising new voices in the European music scene, blending street pop with a rap-inspired aesthetic that brings a fresh, raw energy to modern electronic music. Born in Lugano, Switzerland, and raised with a passion for music, she has quickly carved a space for herself in the industry.

Her ability to seamlessly merge hip-hop elements with electronic production makes her music incredibly dynamic—elevating it beyond genre boundaries and into a unique sonic realm. In 2024, Ele A signed with Universal Italia and released her third EP, Acqua, a darker and more introspective project inspired in part by Rick Rubin’s book The Creative Act: A Way of Being.

But it was her earlier work, particularly the first EP that featured Mikado, that initially caught my attention. This track stands out for its hypnotic rhythm, infectious groove, and a vocal delivery that feels both intimate and cinematic. Mikado is a song that lingers long after the last note fades, making it the perfect foundation for a deep house rework designed for the dancefloor.
